Keys To a Great Cut 🔑 ✂️ Here are my hard and fast rules to a truly great tailored suit. Shoulder line: A sharp shoulder line is a must. 1cm too wide or too narrow can ruin a beautiful suit or jacket. Waistline: I have an obsession with the waistline. An opportunity is often missed to help the wearer look slimmer and sleeker (even when they’re not!) This is where I developed our exclusive seam shaping design. Sleeve length: Men often raise their arms and say- sleeves are too short. Mainly because they’re so used to drowning in long sleeves. Your sleeves should hit your wrist bone and your shirt should sit 1-2cm below. Jacket length: The perfect length is sitting just below your bum cheeks. There are varying ways to work out where’s best but the eye (a good one) knows exactly where it should sit to flatter and balance. Button position: So often I see the button position in completely the wrong place. It should be at the smallest part of your waist. If you think ‘I’m tubby, there is no small part’ then you’ll find it by placing your hands into the small of your back/waist this is where your button position should be in alignment with. 1.In clothing, a collar is the part of a shirt, dress, coat or blouse that fastens around or frames the neck. Among clothing construction professionals, a collar is differentiated from other necklines such as revers and lapels, by being made from a separate piece of fabric, rather than a folded or cut part of the same piece of fabric used for the main body of the garment. Today's shirt collars descend from the rectangular band of linen around the neck of 16th century shirts. Separate ruffs exist alongside attached ruffled collars from the mid-16th century, usually to allow starching and other fine finishing,[citation needed] or to make collar-laundering easier.[2] During the medieval period and sporadically thereafter, people wore ornamental collars as a form of jewelry Conventions on fastening the buttons on a collar differ globally. In the United States and the United Kingdom, the top button is virtually always left unbuttoned, unless one is wearing a necktie, but unbuttoning two or more buttons is seen as overly casual. By contrast, in Slavic countries, including at least Poland, and Ukraine, the top button is buttoned even in the absence of a tie. #snsinstitution #snsdesignthinkers #designthinking .

The biggest mistake men make when buying a suit is NOT prioritizing a perfect fit. You might think you can pull off an off-the-rack suit, but a tailor's expertise unlocks its true potential. Here's why alterations are a must The Shoulder Situation Droopy, wrinkled shoulders are a dead giveaway for an ill-fitting suit. A tailor ensures a snug, clean shoulder line, the foundation of a sharp silhouette. Waistline Wizardry A slightly tapered waistline accentuates your physique. Off-the-rack suits often hang loose, losing that polished, powerful look a tailor can deliver. Perfect Pant Length That sloppy, excess fabric pooling at your ankles? A tailor fixes that. Aim for a slight crease where your trousers meet your shoes – clean, modern, and intentional. Remember, A well-tailored suit, even a moderately priced one, always outshines a poorly fitted designer piece. Invest in alterations – it's the upgrade that'll take your suit game to the next level. #mensuits #menfashion #tailormade #bespokefashion #jurani

To flatter and balance the proportions of a triangle 🔺body type, individuals might consider clothing styles that draw attention to the upper body, add volume to the shoulders, and create the illusion of a fuller bust. Tips for🔺 body types include: ✴️ Wear tops with details like ruffles, patterns, or embellishments to draw attention to the shoulders and bust. ✴️ A-line skirts and dresses that flare out from the waist can balance the wider hips. ✴️ Darker colors on the bottom can create a slimming effect, while brighter or patterned tops can add interest to the upper body. ✴️ Drawing attention to the neckline with statement necklaces or accessories can help balance the overall silhouette. #bodyconfidence #loveyourbody #liveyourstyle #knowyourproportions #fitbeyondsize #bodytype

People with a diamond 💎 body type typically have a relatively straighter or less defined waistline. When dressing for a diamond body, the goal is often to create the illusion of a more defined waist and balance the proportions between the upper and lower body. Tips for dressing a 💎 body type: ✴️ Use belts, wrap dresses, or tops with detailing around the waist to create definition. ✴️ A-line skirts or pants with a slight flare can add volume to the lower body, balancing the proportions. ✴️ These necklines can draw attention upward and elongate the neck. ✴️ Wearing darker colors on the bottom and lighter colors on top can help balance the visual weight. ✴️ Add details to the shoulders, such as shoulder pads or structured tops, to bring attention to this area. ✴️ Flowy fabrics that drape well create a more flattering look without adding bulk. 🚨 Avoid overly tight waistbands that may emphasize the width of the midsection. Diamond body types should feel free to experiment with different styles and find what makes them feel confident and comfortable. Fashion is a personal expression, and the key is to embrace and celebrate one's unique body shape. #bodyconfidence #loveyourbody #liveyourstyle #knowyourproportions #fitbeyondsize #bodytype
