It’s V.A.S. Day!
Every year, we come together as a company to recognize our past achievements and to turn our eye on future opportunities. This year we discussed in more detail how we see our business evolving in the coming years across our industry verticals - and also how we connect this to opportunities for personal growth.
The theme of this year’s V.A.S. Day has been ‘The Future is in our Hands’, because we know what to do to hit the critical milestones we have ahead of us. And the only way to get there is to work together and to collaborate.
That’s why we have days like this - so we can look back at what we’ve achieved, take those learnings with us into the future, and celebrate the people who got us there.
Our Product and Solutions teams gave us insights into the detailed plans and activities for our industry vertical Hub to Hub. We are thankful to work closely together with our colleagues in the Volvo Group, as the task we have, requires the input and support from many. We looked ahead for our industry vertical Quarry and Mining, showcasing next steps on our now proven path of driverless operations. Aside from discussing our future vision, we conducted a virtual mining site visit of one of our customers together with our Group CTO Lars Stenqvist, witnessing automation in action and by that making our customers’ operations safer and more efficient. And we of course also celebrated our employees who work tirelessly to achieve our mission of transforming the movement of goods through efficient, sustainable and safe autonomous transport solutions.
It has been a great day and I remain thankful for the spirit we have - as we progress further every day...next stop at Act Expo, with more exciting news to share – and show…
