Smile Small Heaven Academy (S.S.H.A) History More than a decade ago, around the time of Nepalese Civil War, rebellion was launched with the purpose of overthrowing the Nepalese Monarchy and establishing a people's republic. Though it ended, its consequences on nepalese people was disheartening and brutual with many more precious life withered. The environment people sustained on was insecure, unpredictable. Education Institution were closed; those providing services were burnt down. People were deprived of quality education. With the view to build and refine the education system, under the initiative of Mr. Dhruba Giri, Mr. Shanker Raj Wagle and Mr. Indra Bilash Poudel (Surya), Smile Small Heaven Academy came into being in the heart of Rajakochautara in Kaski with a total number of 68 students and 10 teachers ranging from classes Nursery to Grade II. Now, SSHA is a full-fledged secondary school catering to more than 500 students with the same optimistic vision and goal. In an institution like 'SSHA', having a long history, entry and exit of employees is common and unavoidable. However, there are employees who have remained with the institution right since the time of its establishment.13 students appeared for the S.L.C. examinations for the first time in 2070 B.S. and, ever since, 100% results with outstanding marks has been a hallmark of 'SSHA'. Till date, a total of 201 students have graduated from 'SSHA' with more than 100 achieving distinction, more than 50 achieving First Division and the rest Second Division. Today, the whole nation is disturbed, more so the education field, especially the private sector. In such a condition, the effort of the school and its management alone will not be sufficient for the continuity and prosperity of any institution. It is not that the school has not got support from the different sectors of the society. The fact is that more support and participation is imperative in the forthcoming days. Hence, the 'SSHA' family appeals to all guardians, well wishers, journalists, academic personalities, industrialists, businessmen and the nation as a whole to extend their fullest co-operation to make 'SSHA' shine like 'star' and lead the nation from darkness towards light, 'LEARN AND GROW'.

Teacher's Day is celebrated every year on 5 October to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and the appreciation of teachers. It may include celebrations to honor them for their special contributions in a particular field area, or the community tone in education. This is the primary reason why countries celebrate this day on different dates, unlike many other International Days. #HappyTeachersDay #teachersday #teachersday2024 #teachersdaycelebration #teachersdayspecial #happyteachersday2024 #teachersoffacebook #teachersbelike #teachersfollowteachers #teachers #teaching #teacherdaygift

🌟 Who says college doesn't matter? 🌟 Recently, I was reflecting on the power of education and its impact on our lives. Take, for example, the story of a monk who attended the Kumbh Mela and suddenly became a sensation overnight. Why? Because he hailed from IIT, while many other saints and enlightened beings, who have dedicated their lives to spirituality, received little to no media coverage. This raises an important question: Is our society more inclined to celebrate credentials over true wisdom? 🤔 While education undoubtedly opens doors and provides opportunities, it’s essential to recognize the value of diverse paths to enlightenment and success. Let’s not forget the countless individuals who may not have formal degrees but possess profound insights and experiences. In a world where visibility often trumps substance, let’s strive to appreciate and uplift all voices, regardless of their educational background. After all, wisdom comes in many forms! 💡 What are your thoughts on the intersection of education and recognition? Share your experiences below! #EducationMatters #KumbhMela

Nothing is more pleasing to see than a post like this on a Teacher's Day! Its the people like Babar Ali, its the the teacher in every commoner, its the contributions of these unsung heroes; that makes this country and the world at large a better place to live, and with some support and encouragement they can do much better. Teachers are one of the most hardworking and sacrificing community, especially in our country. They often travel to far distances, neglect their own, including health, so they can teach other kids. Its a noble service that often goes unnoticed. Since teachers are founding pillars of nation building, teacher's training and development, them carrying values rising above cast, creed, race, religion is of paramount importance. Training the trainer in alignment with greater human cause and values, towards peace, prosperity and rising the happiness index is crucial. #teachersday #unsungheroes #trainganddevelopment #trainthetrainer #happiness #thebetterindia
#TeachersDay "I saw children my age or younger working or just hanging around and I thought that they deserved to study," Babar Ali told The Ethicalist. This sense of justice ignited a passion within Babar, leading him to establish Ananda Siksha Niketan. Dubbed the 'world's youngest headmaster', he started his journey at the age of nine by teaching in his backyard, under a guava tree, using chalk borrowed from his own teachers. While Babar's father worried that his studies might suffer, the 11-year-old had his own plans for expansion. A formal inauguration with village elders and the panchayat (local council) brought a name - Ananda Siksha Niketan - and a committee to manage it. Today, the school is recognised by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. By the age of 13, Babar was invited to speak at Santiniketan by Nobel laureate Amartya Sen. He pursued his education alongside his teaching, earning double master's degrees in English and history. With support from donors, the school has grown into a three-storey building with modern amenities like a computer lab, digital classrooms, and a library. Over 7,000 students have received free education since its humble beginnings. Babar Ali's story transcends borders, inspiring students worldwide and even being included in the Indian high school curriculum. #BabarAli #AnandaSikshaNiketan #SocialImpact #Inspiration #WestBengal #Education [Teachers' Day, Babar Ali, Ananda Siksha Niketan, West Bengal, social impact, education, inspiring stories]

Guru = Father. Gurukulam = Father + Mother, when their child crosses 7 years of age, takes 7 other children along with them and live in a nature bound environment. The parents of other children can serve and love around the Gurukulam. But do not take the child out of this environment. 5 Centers of Excellence in every Gurukulam. (5 Shaalas) 1. Gaushala - Mother of all Sustainability (pl see my earlier posts in Indian Breed Cows) 2. Prayogashala - Practice comes first followed by just required Theory. not other way. 3. Athithishala - Guests are so welcome, the children will soak them entirely and leave them empty next day. 4. Paakashala - Food 5. Paatashala - Classroom (Anywhere!) When the first School and Classroom came from Britain in 1811 (Class Benches are a replica of Church, India had 1,72,000 Gurukulams, documented. Let your child sit on the floor and see the Padmasana unfold the brilliance, along with the environment of Gurukulam. I'm forever in my life indebted to my Guru Shri Mukul Kanitkar Ji, whose video I am sharing below that could change your life too. A special thanks to Dr. Tara Woolever, Principal at James Wood Middle School for speaking to education students at Shenandoah University. Her message and stories were inspiring to preservice teachers. Key takeaways: 1. " Every job contributes to your next stop." 2. " It's just not teaching." 3. "You change how people see the world." 4. "Take every opportunity you can but don't be too eager to jump in." 5. "The relationship you build with kids matter. Give kids chances." #SU #teaching #frederickcountypublicschoolsva

The Montessori educational philosophy has been ahead of its time for 100 years in understanding the importance of human development to optimal learning and growth. ✨ At Reliance College, we have used the Montessori framework while honing our knowledge of what young adults need to grow into flourishing human beings. We have incorporated this knowledge into every aspect of our educational programs. 💡 By developing their autonomy and self-reliant entrepreneurship, the program strongly influences students to grasp and accept the values and ideas of living as a free person in a free society. 🙌 #montessori #montessorimethod #mariamontessori
