Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but here’s something for you just in case you are myopic. #GoodAdsMatter Varifocals, also known as progressive lenses, work like magic and allow wearers to see at various distances without the need to change glasses. Fielmann, a German eyewear company, hit the bullseye with their recent OOH campaign, illustrating their varifocals glasses through visual metaphors. From the mountains to petals, a forest to broccoli, the juxtaposition of nearsightedness, as well as farsightedness through the same visual, acutely represents the polarity of varifocals. The fonts used to depict near-sightedness are purposefully delicate and sophisticated, contrasting with the clear, straightforward simplicity of the outdoors as seen through far-sighted eyes.
