We’ve all seen the transformative impact of the #pandemic on #healthcare, especially in the home-based care sector. John Olajide’s insights echo what many in the industry have experienced firsthand. The pandemic hasn't just been a challenge; it's been a catalyst for change. In many industries it has accelerated the integration of #technology… especially #homehealthcare. This shift is truly about rethinking how we deliver care. The rise in #patientdemand and the complexity of their needs have made some things clear. Technology isn't just a nice-to-have; it's essential for meeting these challenges head-on. From #telehealth to #dataanalytics, technology is one of the the keys to more #personalized, efficient, and effective care. There is good evidence for the use of digital technology with health care providers relating to clinical efficacy, user friendliness and cost effectiveness, but a paucity of evidence for community-level digital health interventions. This gap highlights the need to increase the focus on learning about what communities, volunteers, patients, and caregivers want from digital technology, and what would be feasible, acceptable, and useable in their specific contexts.
