We are thrilled to announce our partnerships and initiatives to enhance accessibility at this year’s Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Conference - AITCAP 2024 (getaboutable.com) 🎉 🔹 Barista Communication Boards: Our Communication Access team are providing barista communication boards for coffee carts, making ordering a hot drink a breeze for everyone. Designed by industry professionals and subject matter experts, these boards include 20 different images and phrases, ensuring a diverse range of customers can access your business. 🔹 Accessible Information: Our Accessible Information team has translated the Conference Program, Accessibility Guide, and Where to Stay Guide into Easy Read. This initiative ensures that our documents benefit the 44% of people living in Australia with low literacy, including individuals with disabilities, people from CALD backgrounds, and older Australians. At Scope, we believe Accessible Communication is Good Communication. Join us in promoting accessibility and inclusivity at this year’s conference! Together, we can make information clear, simple, and accessible for all. #Accessibility #InclusiveCommunication #TourismConference #CustomerExperience #CommunicationAccess #EasyRead #Scope

🌍 Protecting children in travel, leisure, and entertainment industries was the focus of a recent event organised by The Bicester Collection, in partnership with the UN Office of the Special Representative and supported by the World Travel & Tourism Council, CWT, and ECPAT International. Key takeaways: 💡 Collaboration is Crucial: Ending the sexual exploitation of children in travel and tourism requires coordinated efforts between public and private sectors, from airports to local communities. 💡 Embedding Child Safety: The travel, tourism, and entertainment industries must prioritise child protection at every stage, including safety by design approaches. 💡 Unregulated Voluntourism: There’s a pressing need to regulate voluntourism to protect children, with interventions required at local, national, and international levels. The event demonstrated strong industry commitment to sustainable tourism that puts child protection at its core. Together, we can create a future where every child is safe. 🔗 Watch the video: https://lnkd.in/g-5CTRWe #ChildProtection #SustainableTourism #UnlockFutures #ActNow
