Rewriting the Rules of Hotel F&B | Founder of Award-Winning Auden Hospitality | Podcast Host | Keynote Speaker

I like that hotels are being measured in a different way It means rooms aren't the driver Pushes us all to think differently, Be innovative in how we create our strategies And create way more value for the guests. So next time you are challenged on TREVPAR And you need to 'sweat the asset' Think about how you can think differently about your F&B offer --> Your story --> Your all-day dining spaces --> Your convenience --> Your digital experience --> Your low yielding meeting rooms --> Your under-utilised spaces Because we all need that extra revenue And thinking differently is the way to stand out from the crowd Who agrees? 🙋🏼♂️ PS. Tell me your thinking different TREVPAR idea below 👇🏻 #innovation #thinkdifferently2024 #hospitality #hotels

If you look after multiple factors across an organisation, nuture them, support teams in delivery, then measure these - this then massively drives the business forward delivering revenue. Your point about rooms is spot on, it’s one of many factors

Running 65-75% bedroom occupancy means 25-35% empty and a whole lot less customers to drive footfall through the doors. Those rooms cost no more than $20 to turn. Find bi-products to move more empty rooms with partners like No Room Wasted and have a robust 360 degree upselling strategy to drive incremental spend with a partner like UpsellGuru. Don't leave the upselling to technology alone - it's proven that the front desk is 3x more likely to convert a sale.
