What is a Joint Venture? A joint venture (JV) deal involves partnering with one or more individuals to pool funds together to purchase and manage a property, with each partner having specific responsibilities. Unlike syndication, where capital is raised from multiple investors, a JV typically involves partners contributing the down payment or the entire purchase amount. In my particular JV deal in Daytona, I partnered with three others, including someone I met at a meetup group who invited me to join. We got along well and she brought in a couple of other partners to complete the purchase.
