What is the future of retirement?
That's why we're here in Las Vegas and are very excited to kick off Retiretech Las Vegas today.
A French philosopher once said "demography is our destiny." It's more true today than ever.
We have convened some great leaders in the retirement and annuity innovation space to paint a vivid picture of where our destiny may take us.
Watch our feeds for some great content.

This is really progressive leadership and brilliant succession planning.
Showing job shares and joint positions at top levels sets a fantastic example.
Well done to Llamau, its board and the joint CEOs.

Yesterday was Todd Lisle's retirement reception at FORVIS in Dallas. This guy has been serving in a Managing Partner role for many years, and it's time to move on and play more golf. ⛳️
Chris Clark spoke at the reception, and he said something about Todd's leadership that really resonated with me (and made me so proud too). Todd has said this SO. MANY. TIMES. over the years.... 👇
"If you care about someone, you'll tell them the truth."
Being a truth teller can be TOUGH, right?
Having hard conversations is tricky for us all. Sure, some are better at it than others. But, when you understand communication styles - navigating hard conversations is a little bit easier to manage.
I created a really awesome tool that will help you understand those styles AND give you practical advice on how to have those conversations too.
🔶 Drop the word GUIDEBOOK in the comments, and I'll send you the link.
Happy retirement, babe!! 🧡

The send-off from my G&S colleagues was really touching for me and my family. No surprise to many, that kind of attention was just a bit uncomfortable for me. Why? Because my tenure and ANY success I realized is simply a credit to the hundreds of hard-working G&S colleagues I had the honor of working with for the past 27 years, the clients that trusted us with their business, and so many others that provided support along the way.
The biggest surprise gift I received over the last month? Reflection… that I hope to share as a simple reminder for business leaders, at any level, in any industry.
Do not underestimate the little things you practice, say or do during interactions with your team… The welcome feeling you give to a new colleague, the outreach on a job well done, the transparency in the way you communicate, your availability to others, the care you take to deliver even the most difficult feedback or result.
As leaders, we fall short from time to time, and don’t always think about these and many other leadership practices on a daily basis. Just know that in the end, they add up to the sum of who you are and the impact you have on an organization. Lead on!
We sent off our outgoing President and CEO Luke Lambert with a bang by holding parties in all our offices! We had such a great time sharing memories, celebrating Luke’s retirement, and honoring his legacy.
Thank you, Luke, for your many contributions to G&S throughout the years and we hope you enjoy your retirement! #WeAreGS ❤️
