Thank you Rachel Wainer for leading such a valuable strengths coaching workshop. And thanks to Mak Nagle for his leadership in seeing it through on our side. The question we are asking ourselves is, "how do we successfully originate, develop, construct, and operate #utility scale #solar and #BESS projects?" It starts with a team of bright and creative people. Thanks to this session and the ongoing coaching it now also includes a framework for how to build and empower project teams based on the unique strengths of the individuals.   Cannot recommend this enough. I'm sure there is value for many different industries, but especially if your workflow involves cross-functional project teams, this is a powerful tool to succeed on your objectives.

We caught up with Lucy Tarttelin & Olena Sydorenko, our team who championed this internal initiative. "Earth Day is important to us as it helps raise awareness to a topic that should be front of mind everyday however often life gets in the way, meaning we can forget how easy it is to make little changes and do our bit. As a company we wanted to show our employees how easy the small swaps can be and try bring the planet back to being top of mind, making us think in different ways about the little things we do everyday. Like instead of throwing an old glass of water down the drain, water your plants with it!" With the support of OnHand • the impact platform, the whole Ninth Seat team were encouraged to play Earth Day / Week bingo! 📣 Announcing the Green Screen Catalyst Fund awardee cohort! 🌐 The Green Screen Catalyst Fund is one of the first explicit attempts to invest in and support practitioners at the intersection of climate justice and digital rights. For philanthropic funders and investors interested in the nature-climate space, there is going to be a great online event tomorrow put on by Conservation X Labs with some legends in the space -- Amy Rosenthal from Planet and Tom Quigley from Superorganism (and myself) -- covering the role of science in asset allocation. It's a closed event, but please reach out on DM for an invite. With the emergence of natural capital and nature frameworks for business such as the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures, the Natural Capital Protocol, and Science Based Targets for Nature, the need to identify actionable, impactful, and investable solutions for nature is clear. Bringing biodiversity to the forefront of investability and innovation can help match the speed and scale required to tackle the global biodiversity crisis and help protect the planet. Yet, a myriad of metrics, indicators, targets, and goals can make it difficult to prioritize across foundations, VCs, NGOs, and governments.
