🔔NEW OPPORTUNITY ALERT IN NOTTINGHAM AND DERBY🔔 🚀 Exciting New Initiative: Sports Coaches as Behavior Mentors in Primary Schools! 🏫🏅 I am thrilled to announce a new initiative I am currently working on! Aimed at enhancing student behavior and overall school climate by integrating sports coaches as behavior mentors in primary schools. Why Sports Coaches? Sports coaches bring a unique set of skills and experiences that can significantly benefit our young students. Here’s how: 💯 Engagement and Motivation: Coaches have a natural ability to engage students and foster a positive attitude towards school and learning. Their motivational techniques can inspire students to strive for excellence both on and off the field. 👍 Promoting Positive Behavior: Coaches emphasize discipline, teamwork, and respect—values that are crucial for a positive school environment. Schools with structured sports programs have reported a 27% decrease in behavioral issues. 🏆 Building Strong Relationships: The mentor-student relationship is powerful. Coaches often serve as role models, helping to improve self-esteem and reduce anxiety among students, which is essential for their social and emotional development. 📈 Proven Impact: Studies have shown that schools with active sports mentorship programs see significant improvements in student attendance and academic performance. For instance, a recent study found a 15% increase in attendance and a 20% improvement in academic performance in schools with such programs. I believe that this initiative will not only improve student behavior but also create a more supportive and productive school environment. If you are interested please follow this link to apply via Hays and we will have a chat 😀 https://lnkd.in/ezRDzuGz Join us in supporting this innovative approach to education! Together, we can help our students thrive both academically and personally. #Education #Innovation #StudentSuccess #BehaviorMentors #SportsCoaches #PrimarySchools #Nottingham #Derby

Sports help children develop physical skills, get exercise, make friends, have fun, learn teamwork, learn to play fair, and improve self-esteem. It is important to remember that the attitudes and behavior taught to children in sports carry over to adult life. Parents should take an active role in helping their child develop good sportsmanship. To help your child get the most out of sports, you need to be actively involved. This includes: - providing emotional support and positive feedback - attending some games and talking about them afterward - having realistic expectations for your child - learning about the sport and supporting your child's involvement - encouraging your child to talk with you about their experiences with the coach and other team members - teaching your child to handle disappointments about losing by praising their efforts to compete and improve athletic skills - modeling respectful spectator behavior #sports #children #health #mentalwellness #physicalfitness #family #healthcare #hospitalsofbhopal #Bhopal #kohefiza #hospital

As an Athletic Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach, I help athletes of all ages enhance strength, speed, power, agility, flexibility, nutrition, injury prevention, and self-confidence.
"Sit with warriors, the conversation is different" aligns perfectly with the training ethos and environment fostered by our team. Here's how: Warriors: In this context, "warriors" represent the dedicated athletes who train at Skolfield Sports Performance. These individuals are committed to their craft, consistently pushing their limits, and striving for excellence in their respective sports or fitness goals. The Conversation: Beyond just the literal exchange of words, "the conversation" encompasses the collective energy, focus, and dedication that permeate the training sessions at SSP. It's not just about lifting weights or running drills; it's about engaging in a mindset where everyone pushes each other to be their best selves. Different: The word "different" underscores the unique atmosphere and culture cultivated at Skolfield Sports Performance. It suggests that the discussions, encouragement, and support among athletes and coaches go beyond the ordinary. It's about fostering a community where every individual is motivated to excel and support others in their journey. Overall, "Sit with warriors, the conversation is different" at Skolfield Sports Performance emphasizes the transformative nature of training alongside like-minded individuals who are driven to achieve greatness. It speaks to the idea that the camaraderie, encouragement, and shared pursuit of excellence elevate the training experience to a whole new level. #skolfieldsportsperformance

The Ethical Dilemma of Unpaid Placements at Surrey Sports Park The recent practice of Surrey Sports Park offering full-time, unpaid athletic roles to students instead of allowing them to complete their degrees raises serious ethical concerns. after deleting our comments questioning the policy, we thought it warrants a closer examination. Our investigation into Surrey Sports Park's recruitment practices revealed a troubling disparity: while several full-time sports placements existed, only those in Strength and Conditioning, Student Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, or Rehabilitation were unpaid. Notably, both the Sport Participation Coordinator and Active Wellbeing Coordinator roles offered fair salaries of £22,323 per annum. This raises a crucial question: why are performance-based courses seemingly undervalued compared to other placements? Is the demanding nature of athletic training deemed less worthy of compensation? Can we truly address systemic issues like unfair compensation without critically reflecting on our own practices? It's time to move beyond pointing fingers and engage in self-reflection. Surrey Sports Park needs to re-evaluate its policy of unpaid placements, particularly within performance-based courses. Students deserve fair compensation for their time and effort, regardless of their area of study. Let's work together to create a system that values all forms of expertise and supports students in achieving their educational goals. Link - https://lnkd.in/euGe2DBN

Genuine interest from a recruiting coach involves more than just an invitation to an ID camp.
