🔥🔥 IFA ANNOUNCEMENT!! 🔥🔥 Why it's such a big deal? Because it's the FIRST sports wearable to have Wild.AI pre-installed: for women to have all the features of Wild.AI, directly on their wrist!! Don’t you love it when technology has a do-good vibe? #Healthtech usually has an advantage there but you have a breadth of positive expectations. One light house example is the work on neonatal and pregnancy care through #wearables in marginalized and underserved patient populations from the article below. The researchers go into a brilliant overview of how #patientcentric design improves outcomes in these patient populations. Focusing on the right adhesives, collected data points, reliability, transferability from home to hospital, and placement are just some of the concerns that need to be taken into account. Another aspect highlighted in the article is the requirements placed upon such systems to promote health equity. Making sure that the collected data is carefully curated and conclusions for treatment or population health are not biased is absolutely vital, especially when working with middle- and lower income countries.
