Elys BMG Group (OTC:ELYS) is pleased to continue deployments of U.S. based independently owned sportsbooks within small business venues such as restaurants, bars, and grab 'n' go establishments. After launching the first of its kind in Washington, D.C., in the midst of COVID restrictions, we have honed our unique Elys Gameboard tech stack to provide a powerful sportsbook solution at an ultra-low cost to small business owners and resort casinos. We are certain that the success of Grand Central Restaurant and Sportsbook in Adams Morgan of D.C. will resonate and replicate across the nation as more states, regulators and law makers acknowledge the benefits of supporting the local and small business economy by bringing the excitement of sports wagering to community based businesses; and recognizing ELYS as a leader in this untapped sector of the continuously growing regulated sports wagering space in the U.S. and Canada. Indeed, we believe that this sector will continue to grow to capture a significant share of the market as players seek alternatives to online only solutions and to support their local business operators. Join us as we reveal additional locations over the next few months and coming together later in 2024 to launch our ELYS mobile channel in Colorado.

Sports Diplomacy, Impact and Legacy. Public Speaker, Founder/CEO The Impact Game, Laureus Sport for Good Ambassador
Posting this one more time just because. "A key outlier to the more downcast attendance outlook is women’s sports, which remains one of the fastest-growing areas of the entire industry and is drawing both increased crowds and higher revenue.... The power of women’s sports is such that it was a central component of StubHub’s recently released 2023 Year In Live Experiences report. The document outlined how NWSL ticket sales on the resale platform shot up 101% this year compared to 2022, increased 92% for the WNBA — including a company-record total for that league’s Finals — and rose 30% for the U.S. Open women’s finals. ICYMI: The 2023 update on State-Level Funding by Stoll Strategies is out now. If you missed the original report in 2022, or want a refresher, you can check it out here 👉 https://lnkd.in/gyz-JtQv
An interesting relationship exists between sports tourism initiatives and state funds - it can be a strategic collaboration that goes beyond the conventional playbook. Entities must recognize that there is an infusion of state funds into sports tourism and develop a plan that meets their specific needs as there is no one-size-fits-all approach. These funds can be significant for elevating fan experiences, boosting event infrastructure, and catalyzing economic growth. It's a dynamic play that is transforming cities and states into vibrant sports hubs, to the benefit of the visitor, and the local populous. No one understands this more than Stoll Strategies Principal Jennifer Stoll, PhD, STS. It is crucial to navigate this evolving landscape with thoughtful planning, ensuring that the benefits are achieved, and that the long-term sustainability of such initiative is prioritized. #sportstourism #sportbiz Read more: https://lnkd.in/gyrQzEvX

After a smashing show at Wrigley Field packed with 35,038 roaring fans, the Chicago Red Stars are now searching for a new venue for their September 21st clash against the San Diego Wave Fútbol Club. Why? Well, turns out Douglas Park, got double-booked with Riot Fest. Red Stars President Karen Leetzow didn't mince words, "It is unfair and unfortunate to have our club put in this situation, shining a light on the vast discrepancies in the treatment of women’s professional sports vs. men’s professional sports." She's got a point, doesn't she? Now, let's play devil's advocate for a moment. Picture this: if it were a men's pro team facing the same double-booking dilemma at Douglas Park, would we see the same? Probably not. They tend to have more backup options, more clout to negotiate, and let's face it, a smoother path to getting things sorted. This situation with the Red Stars is more than just a scheduling hiccup. It's a neon sign flashing "inequality" in bold letters across the sports landscape. Women's sports leagues and teams deserve the same respect, resources, and problem-solving prowess as their male counterparts. It's about time we level the playing field, quite literally. #equity #sportsbiz #nwsl #sportsbusiness #sportsmedia

The recent Super Bowl LVIII made history by being the longest game yet but there are plenty of other impressive numbers around it too. 📺 A staggering 124 million viewers tuned in, an upsurge from last year's 113 million. 🇺🇸 68 million US adults wagered a colossal $23.1 billion, dwarfing previous years. 🌍 An 11% increase in bets across the UK & Europe. Great coverage from our friends at Front Office Sports on the future of live event attendance and the need for flexible ticket products to attract next generation of live event consumers. "Also fundamentally changing the nature of sports ticket sales, and by extension attendance counts, is the ongoing decline of traditional season tickets. Already shrinking in importance in recent years, standard full-season packages are increasingly being replaced by a series of more customized ticket offerings, such as flex packages and subscription-based tickets where fans choose which games they want to go to, often without a fixed seating location, for a set monthly or annual fee." https://lnkd.in/gGtBsW_z
