Getting "more from more" doesn't necessarily mean adding stuff - more tools, more systems, more processes, more policies, more plans, more layers of hierarchy etc. Subtraction can play a part in shaping an environment of belonging, growth and enabling peak performance. Removing the barriers, blockers and constraints. Flow follows focus, and focus is the enemy of distraction. The ability to recover, reset and go again is also key to sustaining peak levels of performance, and maybe our always on, hustle attitude just doesn't wash anymore. Burnout is real, and it's dangerous. For some organisations, the evidence showing the positive effects from shifting to a 4 day work week is growing.
