Beauty in a coconut carbon facility We are changing the impressions of a ‘carbon plant’ … We at Haycarb are making significant strides in making our activated carbon plants blends in with the nature and creating the environment where all our associates can work with peace in both ‘body and soul’ ; nature and blending with nature have lots to do with it. Since 2015 where the State of Mato Grosso, Brazil announced its plan to achieve low-emission development, there have been a number of key developments that serve as milestones. #DUTCH_inspiration/Producing ***#CLEAN_ENERGY*** and Making  #MONEY from Foreign Waste: A Good #BUSINESS/ ITALY will pay AMSTERDAM AEB’s Waste-to-Energy(WtE) Incineration plant*** 200 euros per ton of trash sent *** (Weekly shipment of 900 tons of trash from Italy to the Netherlands), for a total of 180,000 euros every week. At €200 per ton of waste, the Dutch stand to earn up to €28 million over three years. 

Plastic waste and bottles are a nuisance and an ecological problem for the marine environment. A company on the Mediterranean coast of Spain provides dedicated cleaning services to local port authorities. They use a boat that is entirely made from stainless steel. Its bow can be opened like a pair of scissors to trap floating garbage from the water surface. As the name, “Pelican”, implies, it collects the waste in its bow for recycling. Typically deployed at the beginning and at the end of the tourist season, it helps the coastal communities to keep their ports and marinas clean and attractive. Scattered sachets, water bottles and plastic bags cling to the branches of mangroves in the Olango Island Wildlife Sanctuary. This internationally recognised wetland located in Cebu, a bustling tourist province in the Visayas island group of the Philippines, is a crucial habitat for migratory birds. It is a nationally protected area where human settlement and waste dumping are prohibited. Months of analysis of government data by Eco-Business show that Cebu is projected to continue producing the highest amount of waste in the country until 2025, potentially overwhelming tourist destinations with both plastic waste and untreated wastewater. https://lnkd.in/eV_5eVRy

We are proud to share that five additional Brunswick facilities have reached zero-waste-to-landfill status. There are now 27 Brunswick facilities operating to this standard, putting us firmly on track to reach our commitment of 45 such locations by 2023. Mercury Marine Canada has attained zero-waste-to-landfill status at three distribution centers as of May. Navico Group’s largest marine electronics manufacturing facility in Mexico met the 90% waste diverted from landfill goal in May. Mercury Marine’s EMEA Headquarters in Belgium has achieved a 95.9% waste diversion rate.
