Antony Gray our MD pulling out the stops Saturday morning before a busy week ahead and squeezing in 4 urgent 333OAL tools for one of our most loyal and long standing customers to ensure production first thing Monday . These MONSTER 25 diameter cutters, taper tool and form tool (not shown) were ground in our ANCA CNC Machines TX7 (not FX shown) with its 50KW spindle made quick work of these extreme cutters turned around in 1 morning and application supported to pick the correct OD grind to get 0.8 finish required a tiny 260mm down a bore 🥴💪🏻 . These tools needed ground, ran, then reground to have a spun cylindrical grind similar to a reamer to allow a nice finish on the bore walls . Data was slow!! 350rpm, 0.2 feed, 0.2 AE, 20mm AP (full cut) but finish was ☑️ . Antony quotes “leading by example is key, I’d never ask anyone in our team to do anything I wouldn’t do my self, if it takes staying till 10pm and coming in on weekends to help our loyal customers, we will do what it takes, engineering needs our support and we will do just that 😎😎 .
