👉“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” - Viktor E. Our heroes face unimaginable challenges, yet they retain the freedom to shape their mindset and response. Storyteller, Dream Catcher, Disabled Veteran, Keeper of the Flame, Author, poet, Shaman, the inner martial arts, 30 books now at Amazon, seven free for my veteran community.
Update 4 Hello Veterans and friends Fpur days to my 90 5th birthday and I am still here. Resilience of a Dream Catcher; A Memoir for Veterans Copung with Loss This book, Resilience of a Dream Catcher, was the first book written for my veteran community and took 20 months of steady writing, Each chapter has a takeaway example of finding resilience from some 30 episodes of my crazy life: as An army Sports Manager, a Benedictine monk, a Catholic chaplain for Navy and Marines, then, from happy mock to happily married husband and father and eventually grandfather. Spending some 40 years of listening to people’s problems, until how I retained what sanity I have left after that ordeal. So this resilience book here’s my second favorite after the one about blind veterans coping with loss. You can get it in eBook or Kindall so have it read to you. I’m still excited about raising money for my blind and Veterans Association to celebrate my birth month of July. Please consider being generous to this organization which does so much for us blinded veterans who are only 2% of the disabled veterans and easily overlooked by the VA. My crazy goal is to raise our $1,929 to celebrate my birth year. I’m willing to sign Brooks and give away my books until we reach that goal r more. I am blessed to write about many aspects of wellness common gratitude and resilience so check out my other titles.Overview of some od my eBooks Link Please note that any books with this cover and name resilience are the same simply prepared for a different market. After the first which had many BA

Time is a precious commodity. By giving our time to a cause, we give something extra. Many people, myself included, feel like it's nearly impossible to fit one more thing into our schedule. But is that really the case? Is it that we don't have time, or it isn't a priority? I thought about this more in depth after I took the time to visit with local Veterans and Sandy Bower Founder/Volunteer Director at Vets Returning Home recently. The Wartech Engineering mission has always been to support US Warfighters by giving them the tools and resources they need to complete their mission and return home safely. Some experience difficulties reintegrating back into civilian life. I have always been honored to do my part to assist these brave men and women in completing their mission and returning home. I wanted to do more. I wanted to find a way to help them get back on track and pursue a fulfilling and healthy life after sacrificing so much for our freedom. Wartech recently began our Supporting Partner Program with Sandy, pledging a monthly donation to support, but I really want to show these Veterans that we appreciate them and care. After meeting with Sandy and touring the local facility, we saw multiple ways to give a helping hand. Seeing the way that the Veterans there are positively impacted by outreach programs, and talking with them about how much it actually means to have community support motivated me to make time to do this more often. I am looking forward to collaborating on volunteer efforts between Wartech and Vets Returning Home in the near future. An hour or two a month is nothing compared to the years that a Veteran sacrificed to defend our freedoms and give us the opportunity to build a busy, fulfilling life. In short, time is valuable, especially in our busy world. It seems like there is never enough time in a day, and that we couldn't possibly find time for anything else. However, when something is really important to us, we can make time. #communityoutreach #personaldevelopment #veterans #supportveterans #philanthropy #nonprofit

Veterans often face challenges transitioning to civilian life, including finding stable employment and purpose after their service. Many are eager to start their own businesses but lack the resources and guidance to do so successfully. Without the proper support, these brave men and women may feel lost and unfulfilled, unable to achieve their dreams of entrepreneurship and financial independence. Join us in supporting our heroes by donating to our program, which provides them with the mentorship, resources, and funding they need to purchase and run their own small businesses. Together, we can empower our vets and strengthen our communities. #SupportOurHeroes #VeteranEntrepreneurs #EmpowermentThroughBusinessOwnership. #veterans #smallbusiness #entrepeneur #american #military

You may recall from my previous posts that there is not one single Veteran organization out there that exists as a universal solution, capable of addressing every facet of our mental health challenges. If someone tells you otherwise, they are misleading you and potentially doing you more harm than good. It is crucial that #veterans and #transitioningservicemembers understand this as they exit the service as there are over 46,000 non-profit organizations (NPOs) nationwide that are dedicated to helping Veterans and military communities. You just do not hear about them often for a few different reasons: 💠 1. Lack of funding for publicity - Smaller NPOs operate on a more limited budget, which does not allow them to do extensive marketing or attain PR campaigns to raise awareness 💠2. Geographical Focus - Smaller NPOs serve specific local and or regional communities, which keeps their visibility limited to those areas 💠3. Networking and Partnerships - Smaller NPOs may not have an extensive network, which can make it difficult to find these organizations 💠4. Media Attention - Larger NPOs receive more media coverage because of their size, how many they serve, and even their high-profile partnerships and or celebrity endorsements. Do not give up on your search to finding the help or support that you earned and deserve. There are a lot of Veteran advocates and NPOs out there that want to help you, including myself. You are not alone, so REACH OUT! #veteranshelpingveterans
