Update on my post requesting Euroclear to provide statistical proof for their claims of being inclusive and supportive of their Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) employees and to validate their claims that they are driven by ESG principles. So it will not surprise you that they have not provided any such proof. Perhaps it shows that being transparent would have revealed that the opposite was the case in their treatment of BAME employees around the world. So I have been forced to do my own research that so far reveals the complete lack of transparency on losses the company has made due to managerial incompetence, fear or arrogance. The cost is paid by shareholders and new investors who may not be aware of such history or the company's main board of directors who might have not been informed of the poor decisions and the resulting losses that are sometimes magically transformed as revenue on the balance sheet. The final cost is paid by some of their talent being made redundant due to such failures. In my research it was very difficult to get any on-line published data from search engines. It is clear that the company has removed or expunged all negative or damaging information into the dark web. So I have to be doubly careful on highlighting the issues I know of and have discovered over many years. I will first put the results of my findings in a direct email to them for their review and responses before publishing it online for the over 600 LI subscribers who read the first post, including a surprising number of public relations experts employed by the company. I have to be careful on what I publish because of a potential SLAPP case against me. Strategic lawsuits against public participation (also known as SLAPP suits or intimidation lawsuits), , are intended to censor, intimidate, and silence critics by burdening them with the cost of a legal defence until they abandon their criticism or opposition. SLAPP is widely used in UK courts by corrupt Russian oligarchs, politicians and corporations to silence journalists or newspapers. In a typical SLAPP, the defendant (in my first litigation this was Euroclear) does not normally expect to win. Their goals are accomplished if the party bringing the litigation (i.e. me) succumbs to fear, intimidation, mounting legal costs, or simple exhaustion and abandons the public criticism. So don't be surprised if I get SLAPPED...again. More about this in subsequent posts after Euroclear's response to my direct mail to them.

Euroclear: still waiting to hear your answers to my post below. Noticed that the first person to check my post was your Thomas Churchill (He/Him). He didn't connect but I guess it was his department that put out the fantastic post about inclusivity and support of BHM. The second person to respond was Lieve Mostrey, the former CEO of Euroclear Group. Lieve Mostrey posted a ""LIKE" on my post. Don't know why. Was it because I was asking genuinely appropriate questions or was it a deflection? Please do explain why you liked my post Lieve Mostrey. Being a data driven company I am sure it should not take longer than a day to come up with the stats I requested. It's been two and half days. If you stay silent it would be a very typical response as lack of transparency is a key hall mark of Euroclear, which I will show in numerous examples in my next post. And thanks to some of your employees who have reached out to me saying they too have been trying to get answers but without success.

Checking the truth and accuracy of a company's support of Black History Month and their claims to celebrate the achievements of their black colleagues and to validate their claims of being driven by ESG principles. So I am posting a few questions to them publicly. To give them room to expand their claims statistically I use the abbreviation Black, Asian. Minority Ethnic (BAME) employees: Dear Euroclear, Fantastic update, if true (see below). Therefore please do share publicly some detailed & accurate statistics on your claim: Q.1: What is the proportion and numbers of Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) employees do you employ? Do you, e.g. employ from the large catchment of people from North African (minority ethnic) countries that live around your HQ in Brussels Nord); Q.2: Same as (1) above but to include your CSDs in France, Netherlands, Finland, Sweden and the UK; Q.3: How many BAME employees are on the Management Board and on your Extended Management Committee?; Q.4: How many BAME non-executive directors are on the Boards of your ESES CSDs, in Euroclear Finland and Sweden and on EUI's board?; Q.5: How many, if any of your BAME employees have got genuine Managing Director status and responsibility; Q.7: How many and what proportion of all your employees globally that have Managing Director status have Belgian citizenship? I am sure you would have such statistics ready-on-hand to validate both your claims in your post and to support your claim to be driven by ESG principles. If not...!
