Plasma Proteome Redefined: A New Lens on Proteomics Workflow With the advent of novel sample prep workflow and sensitive MS platforms, it's now possible to identify 8-10k proteins from plasma—something unimaginable just a short time ago. I had a wonderful experience visiting Seer headquarters in California! Their extensive setup of the proteograph for sample preparation, utilizing innovative engineered nanoparticles (NPs), is truly impressive. Speaking with the founder & CEO Omid Farokhzad, who was also a professor at Harvard Medical School, was a delight. It's remarkable how Seer has grown into such a significant enterprise within just 7 years, attracting several million dollars in investment. Meeting President & Chief Financial Officer David Horn, visiting their impressive R&D facility, and engaging with colleagues like Rocky Choi and the dedicated lab scientists was an enriching experience. A big thanks to Willy Pena Buttner for the introduction, and for exploring possibilities of collaboration with Proteomica International Pvt Ltd.
