As we celebrate Parents’ Day on July 28, we’re taking intentional time to recognize the caretaking journey — the challenges and joys, the teamwork and support, and the resilience and dedication involved in raising children. While no one is claiming that the role of a parent or caregiver is an easy one, it is an important one, shaping the lives of our children and our next generation. That’s why, though Room to Grow’s mission is to help children thrive from the start, a portion of our program’s content and support is targeted toward parents and caregivers with a two-generation, evidence-informed approach. And we know it works: ✨ 95% of families in our program report that Room to Grow helps them achieve their goals as parents ✨ 92% of parents in our program report that Room to Grow helps them reduce stress ✨ 87% of parents in our program report self-confidence in responding to challenges and opportunities Learn more about the research behind our approach and the impact we’re creating with it here: https://lnkd.in/d3EvbXn2

Building a Legacy of Positivity and Growth The Children of Fallen Heroes mission is about more than just our organization or any one individual—it’s about something much bigger. It’s about taking care of the foundations of what truly matters: family and children. When we invest in these pillars, we create a ripple effect of strength, resilience, and hope that extends far beyond us. Our work is rooted in the belief that by fostering a positive community movement, we encourage growth and the power of positivity. We have the opportunity to build up our families and our communities in ways that inspire and uplift, ensuring that future generations not only thrive but carry forward these values of compassion and care. At the heart of everything we do is the commitment to honoring the legacies of those who have sacrificed for us. But beyond that, it’s also about laying the groundwork for those who come next, creating an environment where every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and be supported by a community that believes in them. Together, we can cultivate a future where our children feel empowered, our families feel supported, and our communities grow stronger through shared purpose and unity. This movement is about building lasting connections, creating positive change, and ensuring that no one is left behind. Let’s keep moving forward—together, for the children, for the families, for the future.

Beauty of Compassion 🌟✨ In the heart of United Souls Home of Safety, a beautiful act of compassion unfolds. These incredible children, who have experienced their fair share of hardships, have chosen to spread love and joy to others who are in need. Their selflessness and generosity are a testament to the indomitable spirit of the human heart. The beauty lies not only in the act itself but also in the profound impact it has on both the givers and receivers. For the children of United Souls Home, this act of feeding other children instills a sense of purpose, empathy, and the understanding that they have the power to make a difference. The beauty of this act of kindness extends beyond the physical nourishment. It creates a ripple effect, touching the lives of those they feed, their families, and the entire community. It serves as a beacon of hope, reminding us all that no act of kindness is ever too small to make a difference. Let us celebrate the beautiful souls of United Souls Home of Safety as they embody the true essence of compassion and empathy. Their act of feeding other children is a shining example of the power we all possess to create a more compassionate and caring world. May their selfless actions inspire us to look beyond our own circumstances and extend a helping hand to those in need. Together, let us continue to spread love, kindness, and hope, and create a brighter future for all children. #CompassionInAction #SpreadingLove #UnitingSouls

What if every school made service to others a core part of education? Imagine the profound impact it would have on the next generation. → Teaching kids empathy, → Compassion, and → The true meaning of community. One of my favourite things in this world is spending time with the kids from our Give Back School and Serving alongside them to help feed the homeless in downtown Rio de Janeiro. The joy and love I see in their eyes during these moments fills my heart in ways words cannot describe. I believe that, Introducing service to others as a regular practice in every school would have a profound, Long-lasting impact on children’s lives. → It teaches empathy, → Community, and → The joy that comes from giving back. Serving others is more than an act of kindness and it’s a lesson in humanity that every child should experience. Live Generously Umberto —-------- PS.
