Edition 1 of #DairyNutriVision is a wrap! 2,5 Days, 18 esteemed speakers, 135 participants from over 23 countries! What a privilege to organize this event. With the most amazing view over the Erasmus bridge, we explored the future of sustainable dairy farming, addressing topics like the role of trace mineral in maintaining a long-term productivity, the importance of early life nutrition in making a solid foundation for the future, the impact of health in targeting efficiency and longevity and balancing nutrition & sustainability. All with the aim to gain knowledge, exchange experiences, and strengthen the global dairy network by bringing the global dairy nutrition community together. Besides key note speeches, the participants visited the Floating Farm Rotterdam where they experiences circularity in practice. This unique farm in the middle of the harbor uses byproducts from local breweries, shops, restaurants etc and produces dairy products for the same local businesses again. Just amazing to see this place. Thank you to all the participants for your active participation. And of course a sincere thank you to all speakers for sharing your knowledge and insights. #DairyNutriVision Day 2: Yesterday another inspiring day during DairyNutriVision! This session covered 4 presentations by Lance Baumgard, M. Victoria Sanz-Fernandez, Geoffrey Dahl and João D. They took the participants on a journey about Immune suppression & Environmental challenges addressing how targeting the hindgut can improve health and performance in Dairy cows and how Artificial Intelligence can support future farm management. With the topic "Building the sustainable dairy cow", we explore the future of sustainable dairy farming with delegates from 23 countries this week. Trouw Nutrition and Selko Feed Additives proudly connect science, programmes, products, technologies, and the dairy network around the world with this event. Today we started with 2 interesting sessions.
