As a cycling brand, summer has always been a favorite season at Selle Royal—not only because it’s the best time for riding, but also because that’s when our team of Support Cyclists on the Road roll out in our bright yellow Van to share coffee, conversation, maintenance tips, and free tune-ups with local bike communities across Europe. This year, we visited six cities from Strasbourg to Salzburg, Brussels to Berlin, making new friends and great memories and helping to promote more supportive cycling in each spot we stopped. We said it was going to be full of flavor, and indeed it was, as last week we presented Stracciatella—our classic, creamy foam stuffed with tasty chips of used saddles—for the first time in two perfect locations: first, with a party in the heart of Bergamo's upper city at La Marianna, where Stracciatella ice cream was invented, then at Selle Royal headquarters, where “our” Stracciatella will become an important ingredient in our products. This three-day event was a great opportunity to introduce our innovative technology to the media and our sales partners from all over Europe while celebrating a tasty moment, full of promise for the future, with everyone who worked hard to make it happen. Another year, another tour, three stops and many languages spoken, thousands of bike checks and coffees served, but millions of memories made along the way. Support Cyclists on the Road is much more than numbers: it's a magical way to connect with cyclists all over Europe. Brussels, Rotterdam and Munich welcomed us better than ever, better than we could have dreamed. An amazing tour ends, but Support Cyclists on the Road never really closes its doors. After our first stop in Brussels, we’re excited to continue this year’s Support Cyclists on the Road tour, bringing smiles to the heart of Rotterdam from 27 to 30 June. As we’ve done in years past, our team at Eendrachtsplein will again offer all cyclists free bike checkups, coffee, and friendly advice!
