How can you be the best dad in the world to your children?👨👧👦 Father’s Day is here, and it’s time to give a shoutout to all the amazing dads out there. Your commitment, love, and hard work make a huge difference. I know how hard it can be at times to keep all the plates spinning. Work, family, health, training, diet, and well-being are all plates we aim to keep spinning. Just like the lessons we learn in business, the choices we make as fathers shape our lives and the lives of our kids. One of the most impactful choices we can make is staying off booze. It’s not always easy, but it’s a game-changer. When we choose to stay sober, we can: - Be fully present with our families. - Set a positive example for our kids. - Maintain our health and well-being. - Build stronger, more reliable relationships. For all the men out there choosing sobriety is one way to ensure we’re showing up consistently as the best dads we can be. So this Father’s day, I salute you for showing up as dads, partners, and men. And sometimes it’s elder care rather than child care, sometimes parenting teens or even college-age kids rather than babies and toddlers; regardless, it takes a lot (and it takes a village). What about Bob? Baby steps; baby steps… (Be a BOSS BABY) There is something remarkable about How we interact with babies and toddlers. They start crawling And we cheer! They start walking And we cheer! They fall down after trying And we.. cheer! You will never see a toddler get chastised For trying to walk and falling down. Instead it’s constant encouragement Constant excitement for every attempt And every step. Maybe we can learn from this As we learn to crawl and walk and sprint ↳ celebrate every step ↳ keep moving forward ↳ be kind to yourself and others ↳ encourage others to try to walk ↳ learn from the falls and don’t dwell on them PS: Are you celebrating the milestones for yourself and others or are you getting frustrated with yourself for falling down too much?   𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐃𝐚𝐝𝐬 ✨   On Father's Day, Implant Centre Martinko joined the 𝐃𝐀𝐃𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐄 on a mission to emphasise the importance of active fatherhood!   Nadja Schaps Horvat, Marija Marelja, and 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐜́ shared with us the most important lessons they learned from their dads, and in doing so revealed to us the important things they were taught in their private and business lives.   Transferring quality values, knowledge, and providing security is a two-person job, and balancing the parental role with business obligations is easier if you know a trick or two.   Through close cooperation and workshops in six organisations, we gained insights into the most common challenges faced by working fathers, and were inspired by this to create a webinar "𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝" to help them coordinate parenthood, relationship with their partners, and work.   Management skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills are just some of the advantages involved fathers bring to the workplace.
