Cockpit Domain Controller - Demystified! After the summer break we would like to share with you some details of a Cockpit Domain Controller Design we at Soft-in recently did. The video details some of the functional blocks mentioned in Harald Schoepp ‘s post of last week, however this one is not from Tesla! As you can see here, combining high speed digital design (e.g. high speed bus systems like Gigabit Ethernet or DDR5 memory interfaces) with low noise analog audio amplifiers and true RF components like analog/digital radio and satellite tuners (as needed for the #infotainment part) or 5G #connectivity is anything else but trivial. To reach the desired performance requires careful pre-layout simulation, and also verification and post-layout simulations. Special thanks to Dr. Cecile PERA for creating the video!
