At BUSE Gas BV in Arnhem (Netherlands) we test each H2S-value to be within a conformity range and for its immediate stability. We test twice separated in time by 4 days (2 times 1 measurement). Both values must be identical meaning that values must be within reproducibility of the measurement procedure. The analyser is calibrated against a gas mixture that was chemically evaluated by NMi-VSL. All these H2S-measurements are thereby directly traceable to internationally recognized metrology which is indicated on the certificate of conformity (CoC). The reason why this is called a CoC and not a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) has to do with the limited number of measurements that are done. When a CoA is given then the evaluated value should be supported by an uncertainty claim. To obtain that uncertainty value many more measurements are needed, for example 3 times 10 measurements. That is too time consuming to perform on all H2S-disposables. For specific demands we can of course create such well evaluated value.

Application Feature: Gas Blending By controlling the pressure of each specific gas to a process, a proprietary blend can be configured and changed on command. Two QB2s mounted on separate PSR-Series volume boosters are controlling the pressure of two types of media in a gas blending application. The DS-Series transducer is providing second-loop feedback to the QB2 to ensure the highest accuracy. The QB2 provides monitor feedback signals of the actual downstream pressure to the PM-Series panel meters. Both pressure control assemblies are controlling pressure to a known orifice directly downstream. The known orifice size provides exact flow rates of each specific gas to the process.
