Discover the transformative impact of shared reading on literacy skills and a love for books. By integrating shared reading into your child's routine, you can enhance crucial skills like decoding, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, comprehension, and grammar. Shared reading provides a dynamic platform to engage children with written language, fostering an understanding of how sounds and letters form words. This practice also cultivates phonemic awareness, enabling children to identify and manipulate sounds within words. Additionally, shared reading introduces new vocabulary, enhances comprehension, and models proper grammar and sentence structure. Beyond skill development, shared reading nurtures a deep-seated love for reading. It creates positive associations with books and reading, establishing them as enjoyable and enriching activities. Set aside dedicated time for shared reading with your child to unlock these benefits and lay a strong foundation for their literacy journey. 🫶💜 #SharedReading #LiteracySkills #LoveForBooks #ReadingRoutine #childdevelopment
