☘ 🍁 Green Credit Scheme : Driving a Greener Future 🍀 🍁 The Green Credit Scheme is an initiative designed to encourage and incentivize environmentally friendly practice within the financial institutions providing loans, investments, or credit lines to projects that support or promote sustainability, renewable energy, energy efficiency, or other eco-friendly initiatives. These schemes often offer lower interest rates, preferential terms, or financial benefits to entities engaged in activities that contribute positively to the environment. The aim is to channel financial resources towards projects that have a positive impact on reducing carbon emissions, conserving natural resources and promoting sustainable development. #greencreditscheme #carbonfree #sustainableagriculture #farmer #farmingstory #ispseeds

The UK National Audit Office report on CCUS shines a light on the challenges with Greenhouse Gas Removal (GGR) deployment in the UK at this critical time. At Evero, we note the NAO’s assessment that ‘No dedicated bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) or other Greenhouse Gas Removal (GGR) projects were included in Track-1, creating a significant risk that the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero will miss its target to remove 5 Mtpa carbon through engineered removals by 2030. Evero’s Ince GGR project, submitted into Hynet Track 1 expansion, gives the new government an opportunity to address that key issue. Our locally sourced, waste wood feedstock also provides for the most sustainable form of BECCS. Retrofitting carbon capture at Ince will enable the government to take its first bite into that 5 Mtpa by 2030 target. With a favourable location alongside a planned Hynet connection point, we can prove the concept of BECCS in a way that is deliverable, affordable and sustainable.
