We are thrilled to share that the Ministry of Water and Environment, in collaboration with EXIM Bank India and key stakeholders, has successfully commissioned a Solar Water Supply Project for Nkandwa and Kiryanongo sub-counties in Kyankwanzi District and Buliisa District. The commissioning event was officiated by Eng. Joseph Oriono Eyatu, Commissioner of the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Department, representing the Permanent Secretary Mr. Alfred Okot Okidi. This impactful project, funded by EXIM Bank India and Government of Uganda and implemented by the Ministry of Water and Environment, will bring clean and safe water to 25,000 people in Kyankwanzi and Buliisa. It’s a significant step towards improving water access and sustainability in the region. Proud to be a part of such transformative initiatives https://lnkd.in/dpSB5jXk Ramesh Patidar | Ministry of Water and Environment, Directorate of Water Resources Management, Uganda | Shakti Pumps (I) Ltd. #Sustainability #WaterAccess #CommunityImpact #ShaktiPumps
