Ready to hit longer and straighter drives? Read below... 🧵👇🏼👇🏼 Your mind is making decisions for you... When you have the clubface out of position... your mind is instructing your body to compensate. Trying to help you hit it better. Conversely... when the clubface in a good position your mind is instructing your body to react in a better way. Essentially.... your mind and body will self organize. Casting is good? Believe it or not... casting is a good thing. Especially with a driver. This isn't even debatable. 3D motion (which you're about to see) has shown this. In fact... even the great Jack Nicklaus said you should be releasing at the top of the swing as long as you moved your weight forward. Casting helps square the clubface early which is what we want. You're turning too much... Amateurs tend to turn to much. Both in the backswing and the downswing. Once you manage the clubface... your turn doesn't need to be as much. Making your swing more efficient. You're going to love this video... It goes over some crucial parts of the swing that will help get your driving dialed in. https://lnkd.in/e8DqAgKv If you enjoyed this tip... How Your Body Affects The Golf Swing * Lower Body: Power Source * Your lower body provides the stability for your upper body to operate at its full capacity * Your hips initiate the downswing and the upper body will follow their lead * Core: Power Connector * Your core transfers power from the lower body to the upper body * If your core is weak, you’re missing out on swing speed * Upper Body: Controller * When the lower body and core are strong and stable, the upper body is able to operate effectively * Strengthening the big muscles in your upper body maintains posture and allows you to control the club #golffitness #golfperformance #golfpower #golfstrength

Golf Tip Tuesday: The Importance of Your Right (Lower) Hand Position In the 3rd part of our series on the grip, today we are talking about getting your right (lower) hand placed on the instrument properly. Your lower hand supports the shaft through impact. A critical factor in controlling the club face. You might have heard that your two hands should match up perfectly, but that's not always the case for most players. When you put your hands on the grip, pay attention to how your right hand feels. It's all about sensing the face and supporting the club where you make impact with the ball. Step 3 for a proper grip by feeling the club face while using your lower hand

The hips are the engine of the golf swing. You don’t have to overpower the ball with your arms to get that satisfyingly pure contact and effortless distance. A smooth and steady swing will get the job done, and it's your hips that get the swing in gear. The first move in golf is your backswing. You don't have to move your arms or hands -- at least not first. The initial move should come with your hips. If you are right-handed, start the swing by turning your hips to the right. This will help you shift your weight from a neutral position to your right side.
