Some highlights from this issue: - Our department is the first in Texas and among the first in the nation to offer #radiation treatments using a new technology, SCINTIX BgRT, that combines #PETimaging with #radiotherapy to precisely treat #bone and #lung #cancers. - We are also the only center in Texas and one of few in the world to offer markerless #radiation therapy to our #breastcancer patients – eliminating the need for permanent marks. - UT Southwestern’s Pancreatic Cancer Program secured a significant grant by partnering with the Canopy Cancer Collective. - The DARTBOARD daily adaptive radiotherapy #clinicaltrial concluded accrual with positive interim results. - Two recent R01-funded projects aim to change how we treat certain cancers.
