Fellow physicians, what’s stopping us from taking enough time off- whatever that may be and realizing it’s different for each of us? Just the other day, I had a conversation with a GI doc who revealed he’s only taken 3 weeks off per year for the last 20 years. He’s thinking about, and really wants to take 12 weeks off this year. My take- do it! You only live once. Life is short and all of those cliches. Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts #healthandwellness #lifeisshort #physicianwellness #physicianshelpingphysicians #physicianburnout

Tailoring Solutions for Special Needs Individuals Embracing inclusivity in oral health is crucial, and it's inspiring to witness the strides being made to ensure everyone receives the care they deserve, including persons with special requirements, additional needs, particularly physical disabilities. This group comprises a vast variety of medical conditions. We should provide all necessary measures to support patients' access to dental care. The great example facilitating this are specifically designed, adaptable 'cushions' supporting patient's position on dental chair (fully wipeable, infection control). Recognizing the diverse physical requirements of patients, dental chairs can be equipped with additional head/neck/body supports. These adjustments ensure optimal positioning during dental procedures (sometimes quite prolonged), enhancing both comfort and accessibility (a photograph was taken during Oral Medicine scientific conference in Gothenburg, 2018).
