We know you’re already enrolled for fall, but have you considered taking one more class if you are attending part-time? Studies show that students enrolled in 6-9 units who take just ONE more course are more likely to stick to college, save money and meet their academic goals sooner (2-3 vs 5 years). Taking an additional class will get you closer to graduation, transfer, and the job you want! Check out the Fall class schedule for a full list of available classes. https://bit.ly/3xkuVN5

Heads up, gang! This Friday, February 23, is the deadline to register for the March 9 SAT. This SAT (like all going forward) is digital only. Note: Many American high schools offer a free or discounted SAT for juniors during the school day during March, so for many students, the March 9 SAT may worth skipping if you'll be doing the SAT School Day. We'd also like to reiterate that we really dislike standardized tests like this but also understand they are returning to many U.S. colleges/universities. If you are a college-bound junior, we generally recommend you take the SAT at least once. The March administration can be good, as can the June one that often coincides with schools letting out for the summer. (There will also be a May SAT date, but we tend to recommend our students avoid that one, as it often overlaps with the stress of AP exams and upcoming finals.) Please share this post with a high school student in your life or their parents! Want help making a testing plan that doesn't go overboard and considers your child as a whole person and not just a test score? Shoot us a message and set up a meeting! #foundationscollegecounseling #collegecounseling #testing #sat #collegeboard #highschool #juniors #classof2025 #students #teenagers #parents #balance #satschoolday #admissions
