3 hacks I've learnt this week about building a personal brand... 1. Change your URL to be relevant. I went from something like Lauren 547356483 to laurencooneygasm. Sort yours here: https://lnkd.in/edKeHRVj 2. Keep things short. Write lists (hello list). We all have short attention spans. Thanks Lottie Unwin (she/her) for this one 3. Follow your joy. Entertain yourself. If you're going to do this over a period of time, the least you can do is write things you enjoy. Over and Out. (Cheers to Female Founders Rise for the teachings)

HEADSHOT TIP: Keep Your Online Profile Picture Fresh! By updating your profile picture regularly, anyone looking you up will instantly recognise your sparkling personality. Not only that, but you will find it leads to an upsurge in profile engagement. Facebook especially notifies your 'friends' when you update your profile picture or cover, so changing these helps the algorithm. Also if you're often in the media/doing PR, it’s crucial to have an up-to-date photo—after all, you never know when a journalist might be hunting for your pic for an article! As you evolve in your career and life, let your headshot tell that story! Update your look to reflect your current style, interests, and experiences. Your online image deserves to shine just as brightly as you do! Be sure to check out my headshot days that happen a couple of times a year. January is perfect for that 'new year, new you' update! https://lnkd.in/eU_MAHsa #HeadshotGoals #StayUpdated #BeRecognised

I know LinkedIn loves a good puppy photo, but where do we sit on cute rabbit photos? 🐰 Meet Bob/Stew(*). The new Kearney family pet. (*) Name is yet to be locked down and arguments are ongoing. “Bob” because it’s cute. “Stew” because it’s funny. You know… “Rabbit Stew”. 😆 Marketing Mix Recruitment - The Marketer who became a Marketing Recruiter. #marketing #marketingrecruitment

My best outreach tip? Copy other people's homework. When you're building a seeding list for a campaign, one of the best things you can do is look up the link profiles of complementary businesses and campaigns. There you're going to find and absolute wealth of publications and journalists who love covering things within your niche - and especially if they're likely to cover campaigns at all! Not just that, you'll also find complementary job titles, angles you might not have considered and publications you've never heard of. Be really nosy when it comes to competitor backlink profiles. I promise you that you'll find gold in them every time. 👀

I only have one rule and I recommend it to you. In any ad, most people will tell you, there is a minimum of four elements: headline, picture, copy, logo. Forget captions, tag-lines, diagrams—they're all optional add-ons. The minimum of elements in ninety percent of press ads is four. If you can do an ad that really works, using only ONE of those elements, you've got a winner. Two elements only, and it'll be pretty good. Three and it'll still look better than anything else in the paper. If you can't get below four, it's possible that the basic idea isn't strong enough, or you haven't expressed it well enough. Reductio ad absurdam. Try it. It works. This is Neil French. 👆 His section of The Copy Book was the last thing I read before falling asleep. This is one poster from my 'post-event regret' series for Mobly. Trying to follow Neil's advice and make it as simple as I can. Said one global strategy director, "I have known so many Lisas over the course of my career. I've seen how well-intentioned people cannot deliver results at events. It's a little too real." Feeling #blessed to work with companies who are helping people like her. Go to getmobly.com pronto if you're searching for a way to supercharge your field marketing team. 🫡 #Utah #FollowTheMoblyRocket
