Episode 38 of the Thriving Business podcast is live! In this episode, Sam and I discuss how branding and graphic design can either make or break your business. While we be no means claim to be graphic design experts (we have a bunch of talented designers who we refer to - see below), we’ve seen enough of the good, the bad and the ugly over the years to be able to advise clients on what works and what doesn’t work when it comes to your online presence. In our discussion, we emphasise the need for professional input and guidance in creating a strong visual identity. We highlight the significance of colour theory, font selection, white space and ‘kerning’ plus a bunch of other do’s and don’ts that we hope you find helpful! If you need professional input, please reach out to great designers like Mark Hansel at GrandDog Design, Sally Jaquet at BlaqJaq Design or Tracy Fryer at Design Studio Perth. ➡️Go here to listen to the episode: https://buff.ly/3Z75aQb #thrivingbusiness #thrivingbusinesspodcast #branding #brandingdesign #brandingstrategy

Lack of consistency = lack of trust 👀 This works in every aspect of life, not just in business and branding. 🤔 If you have a friend who is not always on time, you trust them less when it comes to turning up in a timely manner. 🤔 If you have a product that you love, but their website and Instagram look inconsistent, it will make you more hesitant to buy. Consistency doesn’t just refer to how often you post or the alignment of your brand colours and fonts, it’s about how you behave, it's about how you show up. So, are you or your brand showing up consistently? Snip taken from my most recent Top Of Mind Podcast episode with one of our incredible designers Jess!

This is one of my favourite work I did 🌐 The "Mush Talks" logo captures the essence of heartfelt conversations and insightful discussions. With a soft and welcoming color palette, the design features a central microphone symbolizing the podcast medium, complemented by speech bubbles to represent dialogue. A subtle mushroom element adds a unique touch, aligning with the "Mush" theme. The friendly, rounded typography enhances the approachable feel of the podcast, inviting listeners to join in on meaningful and cozy chats. Whether displayed with or without the optional tagline, the logo embodies the warm and engaging spirit of "Mush Talks." designer #nextdoormarketer #podcast #mushtalks
