Helping Fiji’s Stray Dogs: A Call to Action 🐾 🌟 In Fiji, the stray dog population has surged due to pandemic-related challenges. With limited resources and overwhelmed vet clinics, these dogs face a crisis. But we can make a difference! Here’s how: Neutering Programs Support and promote neutering initiatives. By spaying and neutering stray dogs, we can control their numbers and prevent further overpopulation. Raise Awareness Share this post! Educate your friends and family about the issue. The more people know, the more likely we are to find solutions. Volunteer If you’re in Fiji, consider volunteering with local animal welfare organizations. Your time and effort can directly impact these dogs’ lives. Donate Even a small contribution can help. Donations to shelters and rescue groups provide food, medical care, and shelter for stray dogs. Advocate for Change Petition local authorities to allocate resources for stray dog management. Let’s create a safer, healthier environment for both dogs and humans. Remember, every action counts! Together, we can create a brighter future for Fiji’s furry friends. 🐶❤️🌏 #FijiDogs #AnimalWelfare #StrayDogCrisis

Be the hero Spanish greyhounds desperately need – create your OWN Facebook fundraiser today! If you’re as heartbroken as we are about the 60,000 Spanish greyhounds (AKA galgos) that are brutally murdered every year, there’s a simple way for you to both spread the word and raise the funds that will support our fight for their happiness, health, and wellbeing. Creating your own Facebook fundraiser is a quick and easy way to help us continue to rescue galgos while pushing for legislative changes that will include them in Spanish animal welfare laws. Follow the simple steps below to play a crucial role in saving the lives of these sweet, gentle dogs: 🐶 Head to our Facebook page and navigate to the ‘Fundraisers’ tab. 🐶 Click the ‘Raise Money’ button at the top right. 🐶 Set your fundraising goal, give your fundraiser a name, and write a short description of why your friends and family should donate to this cause. 🐶 Click ‘Create’ and start raising crucial funds to help us save these dogs from misery and death. Pro tip: If you need some inspiration, find out more about the plight of the galgos and how we’re helping here: https://bit.ly/NFA_SGA04L. The Challenge of Fundraising for Animal Welfare 🐾 In the world of fundraising, animal welfare can sometimes feel like an uphill battle. Unlike human services, where the impact is often immediate and visible, our work at the Humane Society of Missouri focuses on giving a voice to those who can’t speak for themselves—our animals. What drives us as fundraisers is knowing that every dollar raised translates directly into lives saved: a puppy rescued from neglect, a senior cat finding comfort in its final days, or a rehabilitated animal thriving in a forever home. But we also know it takes creativity and connection to inspire people to see the value in our work. My team and I are always looking for new ways to tell these stories, build trust, and connect our community’s passion to the urgent needs of the animals we serve. When we connect hearts to our mission, we not only raise funds—we build a movement of people who care deeply about the well-being of all creatures in our city. To my fellow fundraisers: never underestimate the power of storytelling. It’s the bridge between empathy and action. Let’s continue to inspire others to support the causes that matter most. #AnimalWelfare #Fundraising #NonprofitLeadership #HSMO #Storytelling #InspireChange #Philanthropy

If you know anyone working on or funding effective animal welfare projects, I’d love an intro or a tag. 🐷🐔🐟 We’re considering adding a new Cause Area to our app to fund animal welfare projects. If our users hold $1M in Glo Dollars toward this cause, we'd donate up to $40K per year to animal charities—at no cost to our users. About Glo Dollar: Glo Dollar is a digital asset designed to make philanthropy zero-cost. When users spend or hold Glo Dollars, they support causes like fighting poverty and tackling climate change, at no cost to them.

Client appreciation event idea. Animal shelter and lunch. 🐶 🥪 You could pay/donate to the shelter so you could bring a dozen or couple dozen clients to a park next to an animal shelter. The clients could have lunch and go pet dogs and cats and take them for little walks. Maybe have a silent auction for some desirable item and give the proceeds to the shelter. A shelter employee could give a presentation and encourage donations and adoptions. The animals win because a few might get adopted and the rest get to play. The clients win because it’s free lunch and the chance to hang out with dogs. And the advisor wins because what client is gonna leave if their advisor seems like a real, caring human? And especially if the client adopts a dog or cat from that event?? My wife and I just went to a shelter and it was a very emotional experience. Y’all could tap in to that and actually help someone with your client appreciation events. Instead of giving them wine and cheese lol. #financialadvisor #marketing

Today is #NationalRescueDog Day, the day we celebrate all things related to dog rescues, their hard-working staff members and the dog-lovers who support these rescues. The #virbacpack is committed to support those critical activities at the best of our abilities. There are many ways you can help celebrate #NationaRescueDog Day. Here are a few suggestions: - Nominate your favorite animal charity and they could receive $2,500. @virbac, As part of our ongoing #EveryPetProject, we conduct random drawings and reward two animal charities a month with $2,500, all to help them make an even bigger difference in the lives of pets in their care. Follow this link for more info- https://lnkd.in/erkDtPp8 - If you have the resources, consider rescuing a dog from a local animal shelter. Rescue dogs can prove to be great friends and companions for those young and old. - Get your four-legged friends spayed or neutered to help combat overpopulation. More than three million dogs enter shelters every year, many due to overpopulation. - Volunteer at your favorite shelter or at another animal healthcare facility. As they can’t afford to pay employees, many rescues and shelters depend on volunteers. - Make a donation to your local rescue. Most rescues depend on donations to help pay for medical expenses, food, and room and board. No donation is too small. Every little bit helps! Let’s make an impact #together
