We ask all you pro coders and citizen developers out there: Have you ever thought about putting on a chef's hat before starting developing? 🧑🍳 Sure, building an app in low code might not be as rich of a sensory experience as cooking some gourmet recipes, but it follows similar steps and is certainly just as rewarding. 🍳 To avoid burning your dish or even your fingers when developing with low code, we have a little recipe for your gourmet-level tech dish: 1️⃣ Select Your Ingredients: For your app, this means picking out the finest data. Decide what information you'll need - names, dates, numbers - or import a pre-existing dataset to get a head start. 2️⃣ Perfect Your Recipe: Behind the creation of every ingenious app stands a clear workflow. Define what happens when users interact with your app, from data changes to report generation, orchestrating the perfect symphony of flavors. 3️⃣ Set the Table: Aesthetics matter, both in plating a dish and presenting an app. Arrange your UI elements with the drag-and-drop ease of setting a beautiful table. Choose from a variety of themes and layouts to create an inviting atmosphere for your users. 4️⃣ Present Your Dish: The moment of truth! Your app's outputs must be neatly formatted - be it reports, invoices, or any other documents. Make it a feast for the eyes and a tool for efficiency. There you have it: Anyone with the right low code tools in their desktop fittings can craft their own software delicacies in no time. 🔥🥘 Feeling inspired to cook up your own digital solution? I get asked often how I build apps🤔 Well, here’s the best way to build an app: 1️⃣Design with Users in Mind: Create visually appealing designs for your app’s interface (UI) while focusing on providing a smooth and intuitive user experience (UX). 2️⃣ Choose the Right Tech: Select the appropriate programming languages, frameworks, and tools that align with your project’s requirements and goals. 3️⃣ Set Up Your Workspace: Get your development environment set up with all the necessary software and tools to start building your app. 4️⃣Code the Frontend: Start building the user-facing part of your app, including layout, design, and interactive elements, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 5️⃣Develop the Backend: Build the server-side logic, database management systems, and APIs that power your app using frameworks like Node.js, Django, or Flask. 6️⃣Connect the Pieces: Integrate the frontend and backend components to ensure they work seamlessly together, enabling data exchange and proper functionality 7️⃣Testing,testing and more testing: Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix any bugs or issues in your app, ensuring it’s stable and reliable before launch. 8️⃣ Get Ready for Launch: Prepare your app for deployment by following guidelines for submission and release on app stores or web servers. 9️⃣Spread the Word: Develop a marketing strategy to promote your app and attract users, utilizing channels like social media, app store optimization, and influencer partnerships. 🔟Listen to Feedback: Gather feedback from users through analytics, reviews, and surveys, and use that information to continuously improve your app. #softwareengineering #softwaredevelopment

Ever wondered how your favorite apps manage to be so responsive and intuitive, almost as if they’re having a live conversation with you? The secret sauce is something called Reactive Programming—a way of building software that feels alive, reacting to everything you do, seamlessly and efficiently. And when we talk about making apps that truly engage and respond to users in real-time, React.js stands out as a superhero in the coding world. Let’s Dive into the Magic Without the Tech-Speak: Imagine you're at a coffee shop, and you've just placed an order for your favorite brew. The barista starts preparing your drink, and at the same time, they begin making a snack you ordered without you having to remind them. This synchronization of tasks, happening in real-time based on your initial request, embodies the essence of reactive programming. Your order (or action) triggers a series of responses (reactions), all aimed at delivering a delightful experience. React.js takes this concept and applies it to web development. Here’s how: Ever noticed how your social media feed updates automatically with new posts or messages? That's React.js at work! It makes sure you're always in the loop without hitting refresh. Shopping online and seeing products dynamically filter as you adjust your preferences? React.js helps websites react instantly to your choices, making shopping smooth and fun. Ever marveled at how dashboards update in real-time, giving you the latest insights without blinking an eye? Yep, that’s React.js, making data interaction feel like a breeze. Why It Matters: In a world where the only constant is change, apps built with React.js adapt in real-time, making technology more human, responsive, and engaging. It’s not just about building apps; it’s about creating experiences that keep pace with the dynamic nature of our lives. So, What’s Next? Whether you’re a business looking to enhance your digital presence or a budding developer eager to make your mark, diving into React.js could open a new realm of possibilities. It’s about making technology work smarter, not harder, and most importantly, making it work for everyone. #react #developers #programming

#Article for devs by Fatbobman Xu! 📰 When dealing with large datasets in SwiftUI, List, and LazyVStack are the primary tools for efficient display. While they might seem similar, they have distinct characteristics and use cases. List: Better for large datasets, has built-in features like swipe actions and editing. LazyVStack: More flexible for custom layouts, but might be slower with huge datasets. Understanding these differences will help you make informed decisions when building your SwiftUI apps. Read it here ➡ https://lnkd.in/dTGw2JN3

Founder & Director at Envisionly | Empowering Businesses with Innovative Software Solutions | Passionate about Tech, Accessibility, Leadership, and Growth
At Envisionly, we create web apps that are not only powerful but also built with beautiful, functional code. But what makes code truly "good"? Here's a quick breakdown: • Readability: Clear, concise code with descriptive names saves you time and money in the long run. A bad codebase is like a cryptic puzzle – frustrating to navigate and maintain. • Efficiency: Well-written code executes tasks swiftly, leading to smooth user experiences. Inefficient code can be sluggish and cause performance issues. • Modularity: Clean code is organized into reusable components, making it easier to understand, modify, and scale your applications as your business grows. A tangled mess of code can lead to ripple effects – a small change causing unintended consequences elsewhere. This is why we've decided to open-source some of the components we use when building web apps. By prioritizing these principles, we ensure our code is not only functional today but also adaptable for future challenges. Want to see how we craft beautiful, functional code? watch out for our posts over the next few weeks where we will be telling you more about our components and where you can get them. #coding #softwaredevelopment #bestpractices #envisionly

In Flutter, when does it make sense to use the Bloc state management library instead of provider? Business Logic Components, also known as BLoC, are intended to separate the app's business logic from its user interface to make the app code clearer, scalable, and testable. Felix Angelov created it. BLoC Design Pattern: Pros and Cons Let's look at some of the benefits and weaknesses of the bloc design pattern before resuming with the flutter bloc tutorial. Benefits of Using BLoC Significant data on many scenarios. By dividing the company rules from the user interface, the code becomes more effortless to understand. Improves the product's ability easier to test. Simple to remember the different states an app has been in. BLoC's Drawbacks It takes some time to learn new things. Recommend against using simple apps More significant amounts of boilerplate code, however, extensions can handle this. Events and States in BLoC Concepts Understanding We must understand what events and states are to comprehend how bloc functions. Events: Events are the user inputs an application expects to receive, such as button presses that load images, text inputs, or other user inputs. States: states are the app's current state, which you can alter in reaction to an event. Bloc manages these events and states, converting an input stream into an output stream of states. Conclusion Bloc anticipates that it would add a single event to the stream; hence we create an abstract AppBlocEvent class. Nevertheless, because an app may have numerous events, we construct an abstract class and extend it anytime we need to add a new event to manage and send various events to the bloc. #flutter #flutterdeveloper #flutterdev #fluttercommunity #flutterjobs #business #developerjobs #developerlife #tipsandtricks
