Investors think so, as a further 30.4 million Euros has been invested in this company to help increase its manufacturing capacity and provide clean earth magnets to industry. It's not something we may immediately think of but they could help to reduce the environmental impact in an industry where they are expensive to mine and are detrimental to the planet. #magnet #investment #environmentalimpact

❓Why is trust important for innovation❓ 🤝 Trust plays a pivotal role in fostering innovation.  It encourages individuals and organizations to take calculated risks, share ideas openly, and collaborate, ultimately driving the creation of groundbreaking solutions. 💡In 1967, DHV (now Royal HaskoningDHV) invented the innovative and now very recognisable Carrousel to carry out wastewater treatment. Over time, this technology became a trusted solution and was deployed widely in the decades since, with thousands of plants being built. The picture below shows a model of the Carrousel system in the laboratory, which was designed by the engineer Pasveer. 🌊Similarly, 26 years ago, some Royal HaskoningDHV pioneers decided to tackle a major water challenge, resulting in the first incarnation of our Twinn Aqua Suite control software, utilising AI, Machine Learning, and our deep water and wastewater domain expertise. For the last three decades, we have been trusted to operate, control, and optimise a significant number of the water and wastewater systems in the Netherlands. 📈Despite this track record, outside the Netherlands, it has taken longer for this type of technology to be adopted. Trust in digital control solutions is growing, but clearly, as a smart water industry, we still have work to do to convince the hearts and minds of the huge benefits of utilising software to run and optimize water and waste-water processes.
