De 10e editie van de Week van de Circulaire Economie is van start! Samen zetten we stappen richting een duurzame toekomst, zoals bij dit circulaire viaduct in De Groeve waarmee twee natuurgebieden worden verbonden. “Het meest bijzondere aan dit project is dat we het ontwerp hebben gemaakt op basis van de beschikbaarheid van hergebruikte materialen.” – Aldus Arnold Mesken, projectleider bij Provincie Drenthe In opdracht van de provincie Drenthe hebben we 45 jaar oude liggers uit de A9 hergebruikt in dit viaduct in De Groeve. Dat hebben we gedaan met ons consortium Liggers 2.0 – bestaande uit Haitsma Beton B.V., Dura Vermeer, Vlasman Betonbewerkings- en Slooptechnieken b.v., SGS en Royal HaskoningDHV. Hiermee besparen we primaire grondstoffen, verminderen we de CO2-uitstoot met 97% en reduceren we de Milieukostenindicator per ligger met 73%. En dát draagt bij aan een duurzame infrastructuur.
