Around 8:30am this morning, a colleague popped into my office and asked if I had a minute to chat as there was something they wished they'd shared with me at their recent 121. What Joseph Saxton shared was nothing short of inspiring and made my heart smile. A couple of weeks ago Joseph bought the car of his dreams and reflecting on the milestone Joseph told me how the car represented his hard work, dedication, and the personal goals he had set and achieved since joining the business in 2021 and he felt compelled to share the reasons why he loves working at Howarths. Not once did he mention pay or benefits. Instead, his enthusiasm was all about the fulfilment he gets from his role in the Client Success team. He spoke passionately about the joy he finds in supporting our clients, collaborating with our ecosystem of professional partners, and facilitating connections when our services don't directly meet a need, but we know someone who can help. Joseph appreciates the freedom and autonomy his role provides, as well as the continuous learning and development opportunities. He values the strong relationships he has built with his colleagues, the unwavering support, and the encouragement that flows both ways as well as the healthy competition he has with his Client Success partner, Stephanie Shackleton. Listening to Joseph this morning, reinforced for me that at Howarths, we are doing something right.
