I had intended to post this yesterday as part of #RDNday but… well… life happens 😂 I’m coming up on my 10th year of being a Registered Dietitian, and tied with “Aren’t carbs bad for us???” the most popular question I get is “What is the difference between a Registered Dietitian and a Nutritionist?” Dietitians don’t just work in hospitals. We don’t walk around with scales & tape measures. We don’t slap food out of your hands. We don’t tell you food is toxic or poisonous (unless, you know, it’s contaminated or spoiled). Today I’m breaking down the difference.
