How far have we gotten with autonomous vehicles in Norway and why do we need to think even more Nordic/European for the next steps to happen? My colleague Johan Høgåsen-Hallesby shares his perspectives in this newest episode of Opplysningsrådet for veitrafikken.
Hør episoden her: https://lnkd.in/d4ZrnACS Rikard Gaarder Knutsen & Mikkel Friis

In 1919, when the Bauhaus was founded in Weimar, Hugo Junkers was already an established engineer and entrepreneur, known for his revolutionary ideas in aircraft construction. Although Junkers was not directly associated with the Bauhaus, he shared the movement's fundamental principles: functionality, simplicity, and the use of modern technologies and materials in design. Hugo Junkers' influence on the Bauhaus is best understood through his innovative constructions and progressive use of materials such as duralumin. These materials were also applied in the designs of the Bauhaus school, particularly in architecture and furniture design, where simplicity of form and functionality were paramount. Imagine a scene where Bauhaus students undertake an excursion to the Junkers works. Fascinated by the airplanes, they recognise the parallels to their own ideals: the fusion of art and technology, the creation of objects that are both beautiful and practical. Inspired by Junkers' pioneering work, they return to the studio, ready to push the boundaries of traditional art and create something entirely new. Thus, although Hugo Junkers was not directly a part of the Bauhaus, his spirit of innovation and pursuit of functionality were closely intertwined with the ideals of the Bauhaus movement. His legacy continues in the timeless Bauhaus designs celebrated to this day, and in every Junkers watch that measures not only time but also tells a story of creativity and progress.
Happy Birthday! 🎉 Hugo Junkers was born on February 3rd, 1859 in Rheydt, Germany. We celebrate his life to this day with every Junkers watch that combines beauty and technology. Cheers to the visionary behind our legacy! #Junkers #JunkersWatches #BornInGermany

Owner of a boutique VAT advisory firm: Norwegian VAT and EU VAT. Helping companies to comply with their VAT obligations in Europe
This is also sustainability

DANKE, JURGEN! Over the years, #Sports managers have presented the world with models of how management skills can lead to resounding success. Often times, those skills and learnings have over translated well accross disciplines; i.e. presented the #Inpsiration for leaders in #Business #Politics #Education and other walks of life Reflecting on this moment when one of the best #football managers -in the last decade at least - #JurgenKlopp, manager of Liverpool Football Club decides to hand up his boots (and whistle?) What one skill / learning from #Football management has inspired you most to do something better in your business or job ? #Sports #Business #Management #LFC

Jürgen Klopp: A Tribute to Nine Years of Transformative Leadership Yesterday marked the end of an era. Jürgen Klopp, a name synonymous with passion, perseverance, and triumph, bid farewell to Liverpool FC after nine unforgettable years. His journey with the club wasn't just about winning titles; it was about transforming mindsets, instilling belief, and leading with unwavering principles that resonate far beyond the football pitch. As we reflect on Klopp's legacy, it's evident that his leadership principles hold invaluable lessons for the corporate world. Building a Culture of Trust and Unity From the moment Klopp arrived at Anfield, he emphasized the importance of trust and unity. He believed that success is not achieved by individual brilliance alone but by a collective effort where everyone plays their part. In the corporate world, fostering a culture of trust and unity can lead to enhanced collaboration and innovation. When team members trust each other and work towards a common goal, the possibilities are endless. Embracing Passion and Perseverance Klopp's passion was infectious. Whether celebrating a last-minute winner or consoling a player after a tough loss, his genuine emotions were always on display. This passion, coupled with perseverance, drove Liverpool to historic victories, including the much-coveted Premier League title in 2020. In the corporate sphere, leaders who are passionate about their vision and persevere through challenges inspire their teams to push boundaries and achieve greatness. Transforming Doubters into Believers One of Klopp's most famous quotes is, "We have to change from doubters to believers." This mindset shift is crucial in any organization. Leaders must instill confidence and belief in their teams, even when the odds seem insurmountable. By fostering a positive and optimistic environment, leaders can motivate their teams to overcome obstacles and achieve what once seemed impossible. Leading with Empathy Klopp's leadership was marked by empathy. He built strong, personal connections with his players, understanding their strengths, weaknesses, and personal struggles. In the corporate context, empathetic leaders who take the time to understand their employees' perspectives can build stronger, more loyal teams. Empathy fosters an environment where employees feel valued and supported, leading to higher job satisfaction and productivity. As we bid farewell to Jürgen Klopp, we are reminded of the profound impact a visionary leader can have on an organization. His principles of trust, passion, belief, appreciation, empathy, and continuous improvement are not only the foundation of his success but also a blueprint for effective leadership in the corporate world. Danke, Jürgen. "Doubters, Believers, Conquerors."
Danke Jürgen ❤️

Creativity, agility, leadership, teamwork: these soft skills are often hailed as the keys to success in today’s marketplace.
