We recently conducted a study on #EntityVerification at Moody's which highlighted the importance of efficiently and effectively verifying counterparties as part of compliance processes. One respondent even made the valuable point that Entity Verification is the bedrock of everything. Corporate registers play a crucial role in Entity Verification, as they are the ultimate source for real-time, audit-proof company information. Therefore, I am very much looking forward to participating in this year‘s Corporate Registers Forum to discuss how #KYC, #AML, #CFT and third-party risk management processes depend on corporate registers making information available to the industry!

3 learnings from attending the SIETAR Europa congress: 🎢 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱: diving deeper into topics of my preference was fun, but my favourite sessions were those on topics I had little to no knowledge about because I was able to uncover my blind spots (i.e. areas of learning). 🔍 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆: someone in the field may share their thoughts or jokes confidently, but that doesn't mean I have to automatically agree. Critically reflecting on comments and situations strengthened my confidence in forming my own opinion. 🎇 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹: having the opportunity to connect with people that I might have never met in my everyday life was a game-changer to exchange views, reflect on sessions, and thereby keep learning. Partners in our (E)DIH consortium met today regarding BiH's participation in the EU program Digital Europe 🚀 At the beginning of last year, this consortium initiated the activities of BiH's participation in the EU program Digital Europe. During the meeting, the partners discussed joint activities in 2024. The (E)DIH consortium partners are DIH ONEX, Univerzitet u Banjoj Luci, University of East Sarajevo - Univerzitet u Istočnom Sarajevu, mtel.ba, LANACO, and the Agency for Mediation, Information, and Financial Services. Associated partners are the Development Agency of the Republic of Srpska and the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska Together, we are building a stronger community for digital transformation in the region, and we look forward to achieving new milestones in the year ahead.
