What a week!
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve joined Riipen as VP, Partner Success. Riipen is shaping the future of work-integrated learning, and I am incredibly grateful to be a part this organization and team.
I’m embracing two guiding principles and one truth as I embark on this new journey:
👂 Guiding principle # 1 - **Listen more, talk less.** I'm in deep discovery mode, learning as quickly as possible about the team, our customers, and the business. Everyone has knowledge and perspective I can learn from. Questions are my currency. Curiosity is my default mindset.
🔍 Guiding principle # 2 - **Look for ‘native genius’.** I’m embracing this concept from Liz Wiseman that everyone has a ‘native genius’, something they do exceptionally well and absolutely naturally. I’m working to uncover potential and passion that can propel the team further.
💯 And one truth: **The people you work with and for have an outsized impact on your happiness** - so choose your work ‘club’ wisely. I’m proud to join my Riipen colleagues Sarah Blackmore, Dana Stephenson, Dave Savory, Jordan Ell, Alex Wu, Josh Mitchell (and many others) - thank you for a warm welcome and exciting first week!
