General Equities believes that, as Marcus Lemonis aptly puts it, the foundation of successful business relationships is built on honesty, integrity, and hard work. These timeless values remain as crucial as ever. They are the bedrock upon which trust and long-lasting partnerships are forged. Whether we're connecting top-tier #talent with leading organizations or advising on #strategic #leadership moves, our commitment to these principles guides every decision we make. 🤝 A handshake represents a promise and a shared understanding. It’s a symbol of mutual respect and a commitment to deliver on our word. Let's continue to uphold these values in every interaction and decision we make. Together, we can build a #business community where trust and integrity are the norms, not the exceptions.

I'm a decide-on-the-fly kind of guy. My wife is always badgering me about getting too excited about something without considering everything, and everyone, involved. …Like the time I saw a great deal on a trip to Vegas and booked that on top of a wedding she had planned to attend six months prior (not in Vegas). Not everyone was as excited as I was. It happens in business too. When things are going well we tend to avoid thinking about things like exit planning. We've met many business owners of small to mid-sized businesses who realize too late, that an EXIT is not so simple and can really piss people off when not done right. To avoid a ton of hiccups and friction amongst your key employees, planning should start sooner rather than later. It allows you to articulate your goals, prepare your business for sale, and seek the best possible liquidity event with the people who got you there; and this could mean the world to them. #letstalkretention #businessleadership #leadership #businessmistakes #exitplanning
