Peregrine Gold (ASX:PGD) has identified a new high-grade gold zone it's naming “Tin Can West” at the Newman Gold Project in #WA. 🌟 🚀 Technical Director of Peregrine, Mr. George Merhi, commented: "Phase Two RC drilling successfully identified the new Tin Can West zone located 250 metres to the west along the same trend and showing geological continuity with Tin Can. To have such a high-grade initial success after only five holes is very pleasing and a credit to the exploration team. The New England Granite Prospect has been a priority early-stage exploration target since I commenced with Yandal Resources Ltd in 2023. This internal granitoid is covered by shallow cover with broadly spaced historic air-core and RAB drilling, defining a large-scale regolith gold anomaly residing over the eastern intrusive margin. The strike length of the anomalous intrusive margin is more than 3.5km in length, presenting a very broad exploration search space. We recently completed two EIS-co-sponsored diamond holes to obtain structural information concerning the intrusive margin and test below the regolith anomalism. The results were very encouraging and highlighted several different styles of mineralisation, all associated with larger-scale structures that can be extrapolated. We are currently testing the structures more broadly with RC drilling. See the announcement below for details. Results from the three diamond holes completed across the Quarter Moon Prospect in Early July have been released. These results: > Confirm high-grade gold mineralisation at depth that builds on RC results reported earlier this year, > Confirm mineralisation is steeply dipping towards the north-east, with a northwest strike, > Indicates that there are up to 9 parallel mineralised structures cross-cutting the regionally significant dolerite host, > Many of these structures remain open along strike and at depth. The team is currently evaluating follow-up targets for drilling. In addition to these results, the follow-up RC program across the New England Granite Prospect is complete, with results expected in four to six weeks. AC drilling across the large-scale Caladan and Irulan target areas will commence this week. #GSCU We are pleased to announce scout RC drilling results that confirm our high-grade Cu and Au target models at the Teresita and Abundante prospects. An intrusive related gold-copper system (IRGS) has been confirmed at Teresita and high-grade Au (2.03g/t) and Cu (1.31%) hosted in quartz-sulphide veins. This result further suggests that high-grade Cu+Au hosted in vein breccias at our Victoria prospect is also IRGS type giving the Company two of these important Cu-Au targets. Yandal Resources Ltd managing director Chris Oorschot joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the reverse circulation (RC) drilling it has restarted at the recently identified #SionaProspect, part of the #IronstoneWellBarwidgeeGoldProject in Western Australia. This new twelve-hole, 2,500-metre program seeks to explore the geometry and scope of #gold mineralisation following significant results from previous drill holes. Earlier findings reported by the company include 78 metres at 1.2 g/t gold from 96 metres downhole and 14 metres at 1.8 g/t gold from 63 metres. Current drilling targets up and down dip positions relative to these promising intersections, as mineralisation remains open at multiple angles. The campaign, set to conclude within two weeks, may be extended if early results are positive. Maximus Resources Limited (ASX:MXR, OTC:MXRRF) managing director Tim Wither joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the positive results from Phase 2 drilling at #WattleGoldDam, near Kambalda, Western Australia. The drilling confirmed elevated #gold, with samples showing up to 1-metre at 8.05 g/t of gold. The site is positioned along the Spargoville shear zone, where a potential structural offset of the high-grade Wattle Dam Gold Mine has been identified. The discovery of biotite-amphibole alterations within the rock indicates promising #goldprospectivity, as biotite has historically been a marker for high-grade mineralisation at Wattle Dam. Wither noted that the Phase 2 results build confidence in the geological model and enhance future exploration prospects. Highlights: ~ The Company has completed its 'deep-dive' analysis into all available geological and technical information gathered on the Bullseye claims, and subsequently prioritized approximately 2,500 m of NQ core drilling to commence in June-July. ~ Highest-priority drilling will be in the immediate proximity of 2023's exploration hole # BE-23-028 where several clusters of quartz veining were intersected over approximately 18 m of core. ~ As previously reported in news release dated August 14, 2023, detailed core-logging and thorough sampling of these vein-sets generated several encouraging gold assays including: - 4.08 g/t Au over 1.60 m core-length (located at a vertical depth of approximately 75 m below surface) and - 14.59 g/t Au over 1.00 m core-length (at a vertical depth of approximately 186 m below surface). ~ Exploits recently contracted DGI Geoscience to perform a down-hole televiewer program of 16 holes drilled at Bullseye. First-pass drilling of the Ternera East target has intercepted a newly identified, thick (+200m) well-mineralised El Zorro Tonalite (EZT) intrusive, the primary gold host at Ternera. This new discovery is a potential major fault offset of the main Ternera Deposit. Managing Director Zeff Reeves says: “This discovery at Ternera East is one of the most significant results from El Zorro and has the potential to materially change its scale. The identification of this well-mineralised EZT represents a potential uplifted extension or offset of the main Ternera Deposit, which could rapidly add substantial ounces to our existing 1.3Moz Mineral Resource.” TSO is currently undertaking an accelerated drill program to rapidly define this exciting new target.
