52% of LGBTQ+ Gen-Z Americans have experienced bullying because of their sexual orientation. Shockingly, 13% reported it came from teachers or administrative staff. New data reveals alarming rates of unreported bullying against LGBTQ+ students in US schools, with many not feeling safe or accepted by teachers. This has to change. A really insightful survey from LGBTQ+ gen Z: - 1 in 2 have witnessed LGBTQ+ discrimination in the workplace. - 3 out of 4 wont work for an organisation if they cannot be out at work. As an older generation member who has witnessed and been subjected to LGBTQ+ discrimination in the workplace.. It is heartening to see younger generations feel confident in their identity and prioritise employer inclusion as an imperative. It emphasis the ongoing importance for organisations to pro actively foster an LGBTQ+ sense of belonging. 🏳️🌈
