Another innovative idea, Meru Health, offers digital and online tools to stay centered or recenter to address depression, anxiety, and chronic stress. Do you think this is a good idea? As many still fear the stigma around mental health, the possibility of addressing these problems in "the safety of our own homes" could make the approach easier. People who are kind and compassionate see clear benefits to their wellbeing and happiness. They may even live longer. Kindness can also help reduce stress and improve our emotional wellbeing. We all have so much going on in our lives, including competing strains and stresses. It can be easy to signal kindness by posting online and following a trend, but harder to commit to kindness in our daily words and actions. But if we take the time to be kind to other people, we can reap the emotional dividends. It can really make a difference and especially for people who are vulnerable or struggling. Now is the time to re-imagine a kinder society that better protects our mental health. Please follow me on social media for more posts and updates. In our fast-paced world, mental health often gets sidelined. As I mentioned in my recent video, the lack of a listening ear or a supportive companion can have devastating effects. We all need someone who listens without judgment, offering empathy and understanding. It's a reminder of how crucial human connections are for our mental well-being. Let's be that person for someone else as one conversation can make a world of difference. ❤️ Moner School LinkedIn World Health Organization UNICEF #MentalHealth #Bangladesh #LinkedIn #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #wellness #teenmentalhealth #selfcare #youngbangla #gatesfoundation #youth

Today, I discussed men's mental health with Jason Williams on CNC3 The Morning Brew. Here are some important points: 1. You Are Not Alone: No matter the circumstance, there's always someone ready to lend a helping hand. You don't have to struggle in silence. 2. Traditional Masculinity hurts us: The rigid expectations of traditional masculinity are often detrimental to our mental well-being. The notion that men shouldn't express vulnerability or embrace qualities deemed "feminine" only serves to isolate and harm us. Embracing a more inclusive definition of masculinity can lead to healthier emotional lives. 3. Meaningful connections help us: Cultivating strong connections with loved ones is paramount. Investing time and effort into building supportive relationships with family and friends can provide a much-needed anchor during times of distress. 4. There is always Hope: We may not have control over our past, but we hold the power to shape the person we aspire to be. Let's engage in conversation that dismantle stigmas and promote understanding and support for men's mental health.

We asked #Men what they think about #MensMentalHealth… In this candid video, 4 men bare their souls on men’s mental health, peeling back the layers of understanding and challenging stereotypes. The objective? To spark a genuine conversation, shatter stigmas, and shed light on the raw, unfiltered experiences of men dealing with mental health conversations. Listen in as they answer crucial questions, sharing their deepest thoughts on what they wish people grasped about men's mental health, the stereotypes begging to be challenged, and their likelihood to seek professional help. It's not just a glimpse into personal opinions; it's an open invitation to everyone to join a discourse that matters. Let's break down the barriers, dispel myths, and create a supportive space for men to share their stories. Your voice matters. A sense of connection to self and others supports us to participate fully in life. When challenged by mental illness, this connection which lies at the heart of being human becomes dislocated. Spiritual care recognises this dimension of a person and supports individuals in their search for meaning, purpose and hope as they seek re-connection. This process helps people reassemble the pieces and re-experience life in its wholeness. In this way, spirituality plays a fundamental role in helping people live with or recover from mental health issues. — This tile kicks off our series on the Heart & Soul Matters booklet. A valuable guide that explains why the recognition of a person’s spirituality in their individual support plan is integral to health and wellbeing outcomes, it is designed to equip mental health workers, carers and family members with essential information to confidently engage in conversations within the spiritual domain of people’s lives. June is Men’s Mental Health Month. It’s important to recognize that mental health struggles do not discriminate based on gender. According to Mental Health America, approximately 1 in 10 men will experience mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression. Men’s mental health can often go dismissed or overlooked due to stigma and societal expectations. This can lead to underreporting and a reluctance to seek treatment. Research indicates that less than half of men struggling with mental health issues will seek out treatment. Encouraging open communication and minimizing judgment can play a significant role in supporting men’s mental health.☝️🩵 📱 +1 (904) 293-2209 💻 augustinerecovery.com 📍3930 U.S. 1 South Saint Augustine, FL 32086 #augustinerecovery #recovering #soberlife #recoveryjourney #recovery #recoveryispossible #alcoholism #anxiety #substanceusedisorder #soberliving #soberlife #alcoholfree #sobermomtribe #sobermovement #alcoholism #alcoholfreelife #health #recoverycoach #lifecoach #addictionrecovery #twelvesteps #substanceabuse #sobrietyforwomen #sobrietyformen #addictiontreatments #sobriety

🌟 "It is never too late to be who you might have been." - George Eliot 🌟 As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to an end, I've been taking all of my own advice. As humans, it's normal for our moods to fluctuate, but with knowledge and awareness, we can begin to put in protective measures to build ourselves up. The most important thing I've learned is: "Consistency brings confidence." Daily deposits are essential for any goal—mental, spiritual, physical, financial, intellectual, social, and anything else. Make sure to share this with a friend, and see you soon! 💚 #MentalHealthAwareness #SelfReflection #PersonalGrowth #Consistency #DailyDeposits #emotionalwellness ##EmotionalWellbeing #BIPOCMentalHealth
