What a great end to the quarter for the SDRs in UKI, Northern Europe and DACH regions here at BeyondTrust Biggest month and quarter YTD for the team, and it's been clear to see the motions we have been working on coming to fruition. ✅ Solidifying the POD structure between SDRs, AEs & marketing ✅ Structured campaign focus (no toe dipping, jump in with your wellies on) ✅ Booking meetings with 72 hours ✅ Game Practice training sessions (Keep the axe sharp Blake Joiner) ✅ Perfect Preparation Prevents Poor Performance So excited to see the SDR team continue to build in confidence and execute through Q4 and close 2024 on a massive high. Thank you for all your hard work Harry S., Charlie Warren, Megan Hart, Yasmin Derradji, Kieran Alessandro Brown, Hritik Jha, Alex Atkin, Joshua Bonsu, Daniel Evans, Chantal Kramer, Evgeny Shipshinskiy and Patrick Gorgischeli Watch this space as we will be growing the SDR team GLOBALLY through Q4 and 2025 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀

🚀 *First Full Quarter as an AE Completed!🚀 Proud to share that I hit 114% of my target during my ramp period! 🎯 This quarter has been a roller coaster, but it’s so good to see the hard work pay off, but I couldn’t have done it without some amazing people: 👊Chris Aitken – internally everyone speaks highly of you but working directly with you has been invaluable and I’m eager to keep learning more! 💡 Luke Belcher – You paved the way, making the leap from SDR to AE at OneUp just a few months before me. Your advice and support have been a game-changer, giving me a clear roadmap, thank you bro! 🔥 The SDR team (Ayo N. , Connor Howe, Adam Watson , Alex Richardson 👋🏻 & Adam McCrea ) You guys crush it every day and thank you for making my job 100x easier ! 🎯 💙 Derry Holt – Thank you for creating a product that’s not only easy to sell but also helps me with my own personal growth. The quarter has been humbling — balancing cold calls while running my own meetings but still managed to book 49 self sourced meetings which I’m very proud of! Thanks to OneUp I always knew exactly where to focus, reviewing last quarter, my goals are clear: turn more dials green & improve my connect-to-demo booked ratio! A green dial a day keeps the P45 away, let’s go!! 💪

Last week, I reviewed 60+ applications from AE’s for The Elites awards. A few things stood out to me when trying to find the best of the best. It wasn’t just about quota attainment. Sure, that’s a big part of it. But what set the best apart? ⭐ Generating their own pipeline - some of the best AEs were generating as much as 90% of their own pipeline. You can’t just rely on SDRs and Marketing to do it all. ⭐ Whilst the role is an ‘individual contributor’, the best AEs are team players. Helping new joiners, onboarding, taking on additional responsibility. ⭐ Creativity - willingness AND demonstration to cut through the noise to attract attention, move deals along and get buy-in. True grit. ⭐ Promoted from within. Some of the best nominees were those who started as an SDR (in some cases despite having sales experience in another industry) ⭐ Investing in their personal brand - whether that's to help peers in the sales community or be a thought leader for prospects and customers. A big thank you to Izzy Bishop and the team for getting me involved as a judge, truly honoured and cannot wait for the next round!

We moved to an AE to SDR direct pairing in 2024 and I’ve gotten to work closely with Richard Purcell. It would have been easy for us to just meet and immediately go into attack mode. Deciding which accounts to target and how we are going to crush quota. Challenge every AE to not think of them as “your SDR” but a true partnership. You first need to learn about each other, how you are motivated, your why, and your own career and personal goals. Like a 30 min mutual discovery call. Without this alignment, you’re building off a foundation that doesn’t exist. One of the first things Rich mentioned to me was his intent to become an AE. Pumped to share that the mission was successful. Rich blew past his number, built internal champions, got to 'power', and built a roadmap for success. And he officially just got promoted to Commercial AE! 🎉 🎉 🎉 Best advice you'd give to an AE and SDR duo?? P.S. We used this account planning sheet to stay on aligned with each other. Do you ever just...wait to hit quota before you can make a big post about it? A little late to it, but I wanted to share that I took a turn in my career last month. I transitioned from being an SDR Manager to an AE @ Podium. I wanted to hit quota my first month before I could formally post about it (my fellow AEs can probably relate). 😌 I loved my life managing a team of absolute ballers. We never missed quota. We averaged 136% on the year. But oh, to get hung up on the face, to sell to mid champions, to chase a wife whose husband has NO intention of EVER investing in tech, to get "happy ears" for nothing 🙉, to deal with people "thinking about it.”🗣 Candidly, I love every second of it. But what's REALLY fun is to wear the AE hat all over again, to change a ‘no thank you’ to a signed contract, to talk to business owners about their unique perspectives/ideas/plans, and to be just slightly better and different everyday in the sea of sameness. I ended September at 216% to goal my first month in, with a decent pipeline to go after in October. Learning wise, it's been one heck of a first month, and taking ownership of the entire sales funnel has never been more fun! I had some deals not fall, a ton of hangups, and a BIG learning curve! But here I am, so damn bullish about what is yet to come!

Founder @chrisritson.xyz & thesdrleader.com | I teach SDRs and SDR Leaders how to reach their full potential
275% of quota in her first quarter as an AE. Here's how Martine Di Domenico did it: 1. Built an internal brand → Got managers to like her → Built relationships with AEs → Let her results do the talking Everyone was already bought into her career journey before she asked for a promotion. 2. Learnt AE skills BEFORE promotion → Did demo roleplays → Practiced disco calls → Observed top performers She was ready to close deals before she started. 3. Prioritised her current job → Hit her daily KPIs → Helped her team mates → Smashed her SDR quota Doing her 9-5 was table stakes. Everything else came second. Follow these 3 steps and you'll be an AE in no time. Hope this helps someone out there today ❤️ PS. Connect with Martine Di Domenico she’s class. PPS. It's over ~ My first 90 days at Deel. I was pumped to get started on my first day, but honestly, I was nervous. 😂 I didn't know whether I could make the transition. Moving from a Product to a Sales role. BUT. These things made all the difference... 🔥 Team & Culture 1. SDR Team: -- Shannon Wai, Calvin Goh, Jeremiah Ong, Thasneem Haniffa- thanks for showing me the ropes. -- Together with Charishma Gill & Aye Chan Pwint (Chantel), we've got this ~ 2. AEs & Managers: -- I was a noob (still pretty rough around the edges) -- But your confidence in me gave me the little boost I needed -- Special shoutout to Anand Veer Singh Madan & Samuel T. -- (Honestly, all our AEs are awesome) 3. Enablement: -- We have a lot of products to learn at Deel... -- Without your efforts, I would still be clueless as to where to start -- Special shoutout to Aldrich Obach 🔥 World-Class Product & Support Teams 1. Customer Story: -- 2nd week on the job, a group of Deel customers came up to our trade show booth and thanked us. 😆 -- Why? Because they switched from a competitor and couldn't believe the difference in product quality and support. -- That gave me A LOT of confidence. -- You guys are the real MVP 💪 2. Top of the rankings: -- When I get hit with, "What about your competitors X, Y, Z?" -- I get to pull up the G2 ratings 😄 ------- Can't wait to see what we can achieve as a team in Q3! 🚀
