Alvo Minerals Ltd completed extensive #drilling programs across the wider Palma Project in Brazil, including the C1 and C3 deposits, in order to confirm and expand the MREs. During #exploration at C3, shallow, #copper and #zinc oxide mineralisation was noted and a campaign of Reverse Circulation holes were drilled to investigate the extent and importance of this previously unrecognised mineralisation. This defined a Maiden C3 Oxide Inferred MRE (0.15% Cu cut-off) of 1.2Mt @ 0.3% Cu that has shallow mineralisation and is open along strike. #ASXNews RARE EARTHS COINCIDENT WITH MINERAL SANDS AT MPOSA Chilwa Minerals is pleased to announce that it has received the initial rare earth element assay results from the ongoing sonic drill program at the Mposa deposit, part of the Chilwa Project in southeast Malawi. • First 50 sonic drillholes at Mposa, which returned significant #mineralsands assays, have now returned anomalous rare earths results from preliminary composite sampling of the heavy mineral concentrates (HMC). • The first batch of Rare Earth Element (REE) analysis were undertaken as a pathfinder process to assess the potential coexistence of REEs in the HMC. • This initial work did not assess the #REE potential in the coarse or fines fractions, nor was a complete suite of rare earth elements analysed for, heavy rare earths are not included in this first round. • Subsequent follow up analysis is currently underway to assess the presence of the REEs that were not analysed for, as well as to understand the mineralogy and distribution of the REEs in the Mposa HMS deposit. • Noteworthy REE results in the first batch includes 9.55m @ 7,902ppm REO (30% REO) from surface* (MPO-SD-785), incl. 3.55m @ 15,590ppm REO from 6m*. • All drillholes were anomalous for Niobium (Nb₂O₅), with whole of hole composite results ranging between 2,100 – 3,700ppm Nb₂O₅. • All drillholes were terminated at the base of the sands layer, on the basal clay (“footwall”) unit. #CHW’s Managing Director, Cadell Buss, commented: “Whilst we are focused on the mineral sands potential at Lake Chilwa, these are rare earths results that cannot be ignored. via Grafa Bastion Minerals Limited reported positive results from its high-grade rare earth element project in Gyttorp, Southern Sweden. The 115km2 project in an iron and #REE-enriched skarn belt shows positive REE concentrations, reaching up to 6.8% in total REE + Y levels. LANTHANEIN RESOURCES LIMITED (ASX:LNR, OTC:FRNRF) confirmed the presence of an outcropping quartz core pegmatite during a recent site visit and on-ground due diligence at the Lady Grey Lithium Project near Mount Holland in the Forrestania Greenstone Belt of Western Australia. Company directors Tom Langley and Anees Sabet identified the outcropping pegmatite 400 metres west of Covalent Lithium’s Earl Grey Lithium Mine. Importantly the geochemical results to date indicate elevated tantalum associated with the outcropping pegmatite being a key indicator of a potentially fertile LCT pegmatite mineral system. The Government of Canada, through PrairiesCan and Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), is investing over $16M to support Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) to advance bastnaesite processing and study of critical minerals in #Saskatchewan. This investment includes $15.96 million from PrairiesCan to enable SRC to acquire bastnaesite from Canadian sources and create new capacity for bastnaesite processing, which will be integrated with SRC’s existing facility. SRC will process bastnaesite to produce a mixed rare earth product, which will be further processed using SRC’s solvent extraction and metal smelting technology to produce rare earth metals. As part of this, SRC will also collaborate with a local educational institution to develop and deliver a training program for Indigenous students to operate the bastnaesite processing equipment. An additional $209,330 from Natural Resources Canada, under the Critical Minerals Geoscience Data (CMGC) Initiative, will help create a publicly available database of mineral characteristics, with the goal of expanding understanding of critical mineral deposits in Canada and reducing mining waste. This investment is an example of the greater collaboration called for in the new Framework to Build a Green Prairie Economy. The Framework is as a long-term commitment to better coordination between federal departments, driving strategic investments across the Prairies and collaboration with other levels of government and Prairie partners. ZM: BeMetals Uncovers Extensive Copper Mineralisation in Zambian Copperbelt BeMetals Corp. (TSXV: BMET, OTCQB: BMTLF, Frankfurt: 1OI.F) (the “Company” or “BeMetals”) has announced significant copper sulphide mineralisation from three of four new core holes at the Pangeni Copper Project in Zambia. The new analytical results reveal extensive copper zones covering more than 1.7 kilometres of strike length beneath sand cover, with the copper mineralisation exhibiting characteristics akin to those of major mines in the Domes Region of the Zambian Copperbelt.
