Go back and study how your designs impact the daily lives and experiences of people. So, have you ever looked back at all the projects you've done so far? Do you revisit them to see how they've aged? Doing this exercise helps in a few ways: ✴ It helps you learn from your own mistakes. ✴ It gives you a practical perspective on which parts of your designs have added value to users' lives and which haven't. ✴ You can observe how the materials, colours, and textures you used wear off over time. ✴ You get to track the evolution of your style over time. ✴ Lastly, when you know what doesn't work for sure, you can incorporate new ideas that have stood the test of time and integrate them into your style. Actually consider doing this exercise. It will only make you a better architect. ⚕ #architecture #designthinking #architects #architecturalwriting

Helping architects & developers to communicate their design concepts through stunning 3D visualisation.
Who will benefit from additional clarity of an architectural design? A well crafted visualisation of your project can help share complex design information in a easy to read format, helping: > Construction professionals > Design professionals > Future residents > Estate agents > Contractors > Neighbours > Investors > Planners > Tenants The phrase “a picture speaks 1000 words” means that one image will be able to answer many design related questions, helping everyone involved work towards the same shared end goal. Ironing out any minor misunderstandings, before they become major problems. # ArchVis

5 Essential Skills that everyone in ARCHITECTURE must have :- 1. Design Skills - Creating something that looks good is obviously crucial, but it also needs to be workable, viable, and customized to meet the needs and desires of your clients. Because of this, it's imperative to have a deep understanding of design principles, such as how to strike a balance between utility and aesthetics—a skilled architect will always be able to do this. 2. Communication Skill - You don't have to be a natural speaker, but you do need to be able to express yourself clearly and succinctly enough to make your point. Since the success of a project greatly depends on your ability to communicate, it is likely that as an architect you will make presentations and sell ideas to clients. 3. Problem-solving - Architects encounter a variety of challenges, including difficulties pertaining to design and law. To prevent project delays, a skilled architect should find prompt and effective solutions to these problems. 4. Teamwork - When it comes to collaboration, an architect's ability to get along with people is a valuable skill. Even if you might work alone on the most of the design, you will always need to communicate with the following individuals: The construction team, whether guaranteeing adherence to your designs or addressing material availability and cost, your internal team, whether creating drawings for an ongoing activity or pitching contracts to new clients 5. Legal Knowledge - Legal expertise is also essential. You are, of course, allowed to devise brilliant construction concepts. But, having a fantastic idea is useless if they don't actually adhere to the building laws, regulations, and policies. #architecture #architect #archdaily #archilovers #architecturephotography #architecturestudent #archviz #architecturedesign #interiors #interiordesign #interiorstyling #interiordecor #interiordesigner #india #interior Do you have it all? https://lnkd.in/gs3d862d

Licensed Architect in Frankfurt am M. | Podcaster. I post about my process as an architect and how to comunicate online.
There is a huge problem at the beginning of every architecture project, that we architects solve in a very simple way. The initial phase of an architectural project is crucial, demanding a deep understanding of clients' needs – a seemingly simple task with its own complexities. Clients often lack: -experience -haven't constructed many buildings - are uncertain about their desires. To address this challenge, we conduct workshops, actively engaging clients to explore how they envision working, living, or utilizing their future space. In cases where blind spots emerge, we introduce reference projects to prompt a paradigm shift. Once we've clarified their needs, we collaboratively define the program of spaces, specifying the square meters. Before delving into design, it's imperative to ensure a thorough understanding of the client's expectations, maintaining a level of abstraction just below sketches. Functional diagrams, like the one below, aid in illustrating sizing proportions and space relationships. For those outside the architectural realm, did this insight captivate your interest? Architects, do you employ similar methods? Share your thoughts in the comments. P.S. The sketch is not from me, I couldn't show you mines cause of NDAs. #architect #architecture #architecturedesign #clientwork
